After Lily Turner finished speaking, there was a long silence on the other end of the phone. Just as she was about to speak again, she heard Grant Heath's voice asking, "Are you not participating because of him?"
This was the most likely reason he could think of for her not participating in the program, and it made him extremely upset and jealous. He unconsciously tightened his grip on the phone.
"I don't think it's appropriate for me to participate in that kind of show right now."
Lily Turner didn't directly say yes or no; she just mentioned that participating in that kind of show was inappropriate for her.
She was a married woman now, and such intimate interactions between men and women on a show were really unsuitable for her. She wasn't particularly fond of such shows anyway.
"Inappropriate?"
Grant Heath didn't expect Lily Turner to say that. He was surprised, puzzled, and had some hidden worries in his heart.
