Sensing someone approaching from behind, Alice Turner instinctively turned around. Seeing it was Thomas Fisher, she hastily said to Sophia Wood on the other end of the call, "Mom! They're starting to board now, I'll hang up first. Anything else, we'll talk when I get back."
After saying this, she hurriedly hung up the phone without caring about the reaction on the other end.
As Thomas Fisher walked over, he heard Alice Turner call out "Mom." That's when he realized she was talking to her mother on the phone, a faint hint of a smile appearing on his lips.
"They're boarding now, let's go."
Thomas Fisher stepped aside, waiting for Alice Turner to proceed first. She gave him a dazed look and then headed towards the boarding gate.
Seeing this, Thomas Fisher quickly followed her.
"Where's your seat?"
After boarding, Thomas Fisher didn't head to his first class seat but instead followed Alice Turner to economy class.
