Lily Grant was visited by Isabella Gray and Mr. Morgan.
Neither of them brought their household servants, carrying quite a few things in their hands.
Without thinking, Lucas hurried over and took the items into his own hands.
"How's Chloe?" Isabella didn't waste any time and handed all the things to Lucas.
She reminded him, "Be careful, there's chicken soup I brought for Chloe in here. That child, ever since she got sick, she's been losing weight, almost as thin as a bamboo stick."
As Isabella spoke, she headed towards Chloe's ward.
Halfway there, she suddenly stopped, turned back to look at Lucas, and frowned, "I'm asking you a question, why are you acting like a mute? Usually you can talk so much, why are you silent now?"
Lucas looked up at Isabella and sighed with slight helplessness.
"Mom, I have something I want to talk to you about."
As soon as he spoke, Isabella was a bit taken aback.
