Brand nodded.
"I'll go with you," Qian suddenly replied, clutching her war-hammer and staring intently at the gigantic creature in front of them—though it appeared to be lifeless at the moment, motionless, and devoid of any breath. Yet, all three of them understood that the moment they moved, the creature would instantly launch an attack: "If you die, neither Medisha nor I are confident in dealing with this monster. To protect what's left of the Gray Wolf Mercenary Group, Lord, your life is my life—"
Brand was taken aback.
"Miss Qian is right, Lord," Medisha also responded, softly persuading: "Without this monster, even if I am alone, Conrad isn't my match—Wizard Hunter, I have fought many such opponents among the Miner people."
"Alright," the young man knew this was no time for argument, besides with Qian's help their chances indeed improved. He drew the second card of the day from his bosom: "Let's split up and take action."
