"You really don't have a girlfriend?" Eva Hayes asked again, still somewhat incredulous.
"No, the factory just started up, where do I find the time to date anyone?" Joseph Lancaster replied with a laugh.
Violet Zimmerman buried her head again, knowing it was just her uncle's excuse because he had told her he wouldn't fall for another woman.
Unconsciously, the corners of her lips lifted into a smile.
"Joseph, I'll tell you, you can't compare to our Michael in this regard. Our Michael manages work and love at the same time!"
Eva Hayes displayed a proud expression, casually placing one hand on her son's shoulder, patting him gently while showing off.
"Before the year ended, Michael started dating the daughter of our city office director. The girl even asked someone to propose on her behalf. Twenty, by the New Year, they'll be a perfect match for Michael!"
