Celestelle had a different vibe from Helix, but Gio hadn't had a chance to feel it quite yet. When he followed Farrah through her door, he found himself surrounded by clean white walls and the scent of sanitation.
"I hope you weren't expecting a tour of the city or anything," Farrah said, glancing over at him through the huge glasses on her face.
"If you came as a First Institute prospect, I'd give you all of that, but you're here as someone who's claiming to be a researcher, so it's different."
"That's not true," Gio replied as she led him through the halls. He looked from side to side through the glass panels showing the connected rooms, all of which were filled with machinery and lab workers.
"I wouldn't call myself a researcher by any definition of the word. Think of me more like a medium. I know of a lot of theories and ideas that other people made, and it's become a duty on my shoulders to make sure those ideas come to life."
