Truthfully, she wanted to.
But time was precious, and they had too much to do.
"I won't do anything," Edmund promised. "I swear."
Still … if they stayed like this for too long, what started as hugging might turn into something more.
"Just … just ten minutes," Primrose said. "We'll hug for ten minutes. That's it."
If not, it might become dangerous.
Edmund nodded. "Ten minutes is more than enough."
It was only ten minutes,
But for some reason, to Primrose, it felt like the sweetest eternity.
Edmund kissed her again, on her lips, her cheeks … Every part of her face received his gentle attention.
He even kissed her neck a few times, but never bit her skin because he knew, if he did that, he might not be able to stop himself anymore.
"I think that's enough," Primrose whispered.
Edmund kissed her lips one last time, then held her gaze with his own. "I still have one more minute."
There was no way he'd waste even a second.
