Part 0: Prologue
Where the heck am I?
As I look around to see the place was full of rubble and debris surrounding me. Although, I wasn't sure how I end up in this situation, but my instinct telling me to go somewhere. As I walked, I keep searching a way out and hopefully it wasn't a dead end. Also, I've been seeing one single steel bar that connected every building. I've inhale as I slowly walk toward across the building. Even though the steel wasn't that thin, my intrusive thought made it look thinner that I could fall to my death. At this point it was just fate holding me while I walked across the building. Finally, I made it. I have cross one building. As I look around the area, it was full of shattered window. But that wasn't what I want to know but thankfully this building has an exit.
As I looked down, it was fully darkness. Although I wasn't sure, but I kept walking as I want to escape this place.
'So dark and cold…'
Step by step I finally made it to the exit. As I looked outside, around it was abundant with plant and beautiful scenery as it was some kind of forest, A beautiful one that can be a home to many animals.
'Beautiful... '
Although I wasn't sure if this was some kind of trick, but after looking at it, I was surely thinking it wasn't any trick. As I slowly open my eyes once more, the place I've thought was abundant with plant was a trick. I looked around the place to see it was full of pile of skeleton, that was piling around each building.
'What the f##k!?'
Oh, how I was fooled by the exit itself that reflect an image of a forest. The place was more like an apocalypse that have happen many years, centuries, and more. As I pondering to myself "This must be a dream… although if this is a dream, I suppose the building I was in was just a dream". As I looked around the place, every building, debris, rubbles, and the pile of skeleton has vanished in instant. I wasn't sure if the possibility that I could vanish around me in instant, but if I could somehow vanish it, maybe I could find my way out. As soon I was finding a way out for this nightmare, a deadly aura was emitted behind her back.
As I soon look behind my back, I seen a figure from far away. Moreover, as I blink, the figure somehow got closer and closer. As soon the figure got little bit closer, I realised I needed to run as my instinct and my heart pounding faster. As I tried to run away, my leg won't move as it got glue for the ground.
'Come on! Move!"
As I force myself to move, I looked at the figure that was in front on me. I was terrified seeing the figure that looked at me without a face and a body resemble of a human. As soon I try to run, the figure starts to spoke.
"Alice…"
As the figure spoke, I soon looked at it and speak to it, even though I was scared.
"What?"
"Are you Alice?"
Even though I doesn't know what she or he want for me, but for certain I need some answer. Moreover, as I take inhale a deep breath, I try my best to act brave.
"Yes, I am Alice… tell me who are you? What do you want for me?"
But the answer he/she spoke wasn't something I have expected.
"You haven't yet ready..., Thou shall be ready to fight the one who will end the world and all civilization... "
"The one? Who?"
I was curious of who would destroy the world, yet our conversation didn't last long as I accidental blink my eyes and saw the figure gone. At last, I was alone, doesn't have any idea how to escape this nightmare. As soon I was about to lost hope, I heard my mother voice. The world that was fully white becoming fully dark as I soon realised, I was about to be awake.

Part 1: Alice
As sunrise appear, alarm clock finally ringing. Her mother who wakes up early goes downstair to make breakfast. As Alice who was young grab a crayon to draw a house with each colour different thing. As she humming a tune, as she grabs one last crayon colour to create her and her mother beside the house.
She picks the draw she made and running through the hallway to show it to her mother. Furthermore, her mother who was busy cooking notice her running toward her. "Slow down a bit Alice, you would hurt yourself if slip" her mother gently spoke to her to be careful or she can slip and fall.
As she finally in front her mother, Alice shows her drawing to her mother. Her mother looks at it and smile at her. "You did great job at drawing!" as she gently patted her head, although Alice was curious why she never seen her dad before. "Mom why does dad never come to see us?"
As she said that, her mother smile with a drop of sweat hearing what her daughter said. 'I knew this day would come…' as she looked at her daughter although nervous a bit to say about her father. "Your father… work in other country! The work he does is very busy, that why it's been many years you haven't seen him" as she said it with gently tone with a smile to made her daughter belief it.
As I looked at mother, I don't know what kind of work my father work or what country he works. All I can do was belief of what my mother said to me as I do not know if my father still alive or not. "Oh, but when he come back, we should make a surprise for him!" as Young Alice happily said it to her mother.
Her mother chuckle a bit but agreed for what her daughter said. Although her daughter is right about it, the only problem she knew was how will he come back home? "Alice you should go play outside with other neighbours' kid, I need to cook our breakfast, I will come pick you up when I've done making breakfast" as her mother said it, Young Alice was happy she can play outside with other kid. As soon she exits the door, her mother quickly gets back to cooking and checking if the meat isn't burn.
She picked a picture for her pocket and looked at it with a concern expression. 'Our daughter is still waiting for you to come back home…, I know you know it…' as the image of her when she was younger with 2 of her friends behind her making funny face while beside her was her husband when he was young as her.
'I'll be waiting for your return…'

Somewhere inside the hospital room:
Many years has passed as her mother has grown old for an unknown disease that age rapidly than other people. As for Alice who has finally become an adult in his twenty. Her mother that already awake more earlier than her was disappointed seeing her sleeping this long. She tries to wake her up again, but with no avail.
"Alice, wake up, it's already 1 PM!"
*snoring*
"M-m…... Money…"
Her mother sighed for a moment seeing her mumbling about money while looking at her worried about how she would do in the future without her.
'Dream about being rich..., Yet can't find any job!'
As Alice still sleeping her mother flick her finger on her forehead. "Ouch! What that for!" as she finally awakes and rubbing her forehead. Her mother looked at her as she disappointed seeing how she reacts. "You haven't found any real job! Yet your sleep is too long! It's already 1 pm!"
"Mom, I promised I'll find job that suit me" as she looked at her mother that was mad. "Oh, shut it! You been promised me that you find a real job 20 times! Part time won't help you get any good salary! Also, you're already twenty find a man to married you as a promised!" as her mother pointing her finger on her.
"Mom no! I am not going married anyone!"
"At least find some decent job once I am dead!"
After 5 minutes of arguing, the room finally become quieter as they look at each other. "Sighed…, Mom, I think it best for us to stop arguing…" as her mother gaze at her. "Sighed… you're right…" as her mom looked at her watching scenery at the window. "IS it really worth it? Being here with your mother that could die any minutes?" as she asked her that been with her since she was in university.
"Yeah! You don't need to be sad or alone in hospital as I will be here with you!" as I smile with joy. Although I seeing her died alone isn't something I would like to see. No child should see they parent died alone…, let alone in a hospital.
As her mother looked at her, she finally remembers an old picture she been keeping for a while. "Alice come to here for a moment" as she picked as she picks an old picture of her when she was young. "This picture is the only picture I have your father…"
As I looked at the picture, I was surprise to see my mother was very beautiful and was taking a selfie with the other 3. "Wow mom! You look beautiful when you are young!" as I look at my mother that was smiling.
"Right beside me is your father, He doesn't like taking picture, also behind me was my friends. It's been a long time I haven't seen her" as she laughing while I was curious why my father face eyes are blurry. "Mom, why is father eyes is blurry?" as I looked at her that was very curious. Of course, my mother laugh at me. "Of course it would be blurry! It's an old picture!" although embarrassed, I have just expected she would laugh.
Although as I looked back the picture again, I wonder why isn't mother never said anything about him anymore. "Mom…, is father really alive? Or was it to made me belief that he was alive?" as I said it my mother stop laughing and gaze at me. 'If I tell the truth, she won't belief it either…' as she said to herself.
"I can't tell you it either, but only fate would tell us…" as my mother said to me. I don't know if what she said was yes or no either. I guess I have to wait and find out…
'I getting older than anyone would think…, seem like going into otherworld would cause my body to age rapidly… I should in my forty but I age more faster than I have thought…' as her mother looked at her hand wondering how it could affect her body. "Alice, my daughter…, since you're a child you been protect other…, Once I am gone, protect yourself and other that needed your help as a promise…"
"I promise mom." As I gently holding her hand. As I promise to my mother, I wasn't sure if I could protect other or even protecting myself, but it is a promise that I can't lie too. As her mother looked at her, she thinks to herself about her husband. 'Sigh… if you knew that would happen, your daughter won't be waiting for you…'

It was very unexpected… as I saw my mother pass away right in front my eyes. As I looked at her grave, I wonder did she knew that her time almost up? Although if she knew, I would be sad but I guess it all fate.
As I start walked downhill toward my car, I looked toward my mother grave. As I seen a bees extract the nectar for the flower I bought in this sunny day. As soon I arrive home, I looked at the house that was built with brick. 'I am finally home, mom…' as I looked at my home that I've have not been to, for very long time after my mother pass out and goes into hospital to only known that she has unknown deceased.
As I open the door for the first time, I looked around to see dust and spider web on some area. I have expected it would become like this, as I have not been here for very long time. 'I wonder, does the neighbour still remember me?' as I looked at my neighbour home before going inside. As I close the door a knock was heard for the door. I was surprise seeing someone would be knocking at this time. As I opened the door, I was unexpected been greet by my neighbour. "Hello Alice! It's been a very long time! I am very sorry about your mother… she was very great friend, neighbour I have ever seen…"
"it's okay. But who are you again?"
"Oh right! I am your mother friend, miss Lisa. I still remember when you're played with other in my garden."
"Oh! It's been long time. How Michael been doing lately?"
"he's fine. He got into Havard!"
"Oh, that is a good thing for him."
'Never though he could get to Havard' as I remember him running away for the bees.
"Anyway, miss Lisa, I may need to end this conversation quickly as I need to clean up inside the house"
"Ah, I am sorry about your mother and wasting your time, I'll be inside my home, knock my door if you needed some help!" as miss Lisa smile joyfully at me.
"Oh, it's okay"
As I close the door, I started to stretch my arms to be ready to clean the whole house.

3 Hours later…
As I looked around the living room and other to see the place all been clean and have no spider web nor dust remained. "Finally… I have finished my task…" as I muttered to myself while stretching my arm. 'Hm, almost midnight. I should take some bath and goes straight to bed…' as I looked at the window watching the sunset before going upstairs to take a bath.
"Finally… comfy bed! Oh, how I miss you!" as I slowly closing my eyes to sleep peacefully. Although I wasn't sure if I could find a job, but it would be my problem for tomorrow. As she asleep without realised of someone was watching her outside her house.
As the silhouette of a man watching her outside of her house, he looks at the image that was given by his boss was pondering if this the right place. 'Is this the place?' he shrugged it off and took out his phone to call his boss. "I have arrived to the place you have given"
"Good…, make sure that you bring her to us without trouble, we don't want to cause problem…" as the boss doubt with his experience. As he ends the phone call he looked back at her house and wondering, 'what so special about her?' as he opens his car but to see many weapons and other tool needed. Although he only picks a glove, gasmask, and sleeping gas to be easily kidnapped her.
As he walks toward the wall of the house, he starts climbing the wall of the house toward her bedroom window. Luckily, the glove was strong enough to hold his weight for falling to the ground. After checking the room, he saw the window wasn't lock. As he slowly opening the window with the width and height enough to throw the sleeping gas inside her room. He slowly closing as if he makes a sound loud enough, he would accidentally make her awake before the room fill with the sleeping gas. Furthermore, as the room fill with the sleeping, he was sure that she would be in a deep sleep. He equips the gas mask and opens the window wide enough to fit him inside.
'So, this is the hero he wants me to bring? What a fool…' as he looked at her with an annoying face, but he has no choice but to complete his mission. As he grabs her, he looked at the window and said 'Hope it works!' as he jumps and hoping the shoes reduce the impact of the fall. As the he falls to the ground the shoes start to absorb the impact and a smoke came out for the shoes.
'Thank goodness I didn't break my leg this time'
As he put her inside the car, he looked back at the bedroom window and said 'Hopefully it would disappear at sunrise' as he drove on the road at midnight.

I slowly opened my eyes and seeing a bright light of the room, just for me to turn off the alarm. As I rub my eyes, the room was cold… as I looked around the place, I was confused by the room I was in. although the bed was comfy, I was curious as this was not my room or the place, I am now wasn't my house. I pinch my cheek to see if I was dreaming or was inside the dreaming.
"Ow!" as I felt the pain I realised it wasn't a dream but reality. I wasn't expecting I was somehow inside someone room or place. But my curiosity was at its peak as I muttered to myself 'was I sleep walking?' as that the only answer that I could be here. Nevertheless, I started to check around the room to see it was more futuristic than modern. As I muttered to myself again, that I accidentally step foot into some kind of studio that was making a tv show or movie as the object around me is more into sci-fi.
As I walk toward the door, it started to open by itself. 'Cool…' I certainly was amazed by how much futuristic it is and maybe the cost to make it. As I was outside the room, I have no idea in which direction that could be a path to the exit. As I walk through the path without doubt where I will be going, and suddenly a footstep was heard. I wasn't sure where to hide as they weren't any place to hid from. I looked around a spotted a vending machine, I ran toward and standing there while trying to act cool. As the footstep got louder, I was sweating and hoping I didn't get spotted by someone.
"Have you heard, they will be a new hero?"
"New hero? Seems that hero appear around the world lately"
As the stranger finally left for the hallway, I was surely sweating but as I sighed hoping they was no one as I walk onward. Nevertheless, I somehow bump into something hard "Ouch!" as I looked what in front of me, that was when I realised, I accidentally bump into someone.
"Hello there, you must be the new Hero Alice?"
"Nice to meet you"
'Shit…' as I realised, I been spotted by a man that seem to be taller than me. God why am I so short…
