Uchiha Shisui stepped forward and stood calmly in front of Code and Kawaki.
At this moment, both children were already in a state of panic. They clearly understood one thing—this man had come specifically to deal with them.
What should they do?
Shisui's expression remained indifferent. He slowly closed his eyes, then opened them again.
In that instant, the Mangekyō Sharingan appeared.
The moment Code saw those eyes, a strong sense of danger surged through his heart. He had once heard the leader mention that the Uchiha clan's genjutsu was terrifying beyond imagination.
"Kawaki, don't—"
Before Code could finish his sentence, Shisui's genjutsu had already activated.
If Itachi's illusion meant that you were already trapped the moment you made eye contact, then Shisui's illusion existed on an entirely higher level. After all, Itachi himself had been guided by Shisui in his early years.
Both Kawaki and Code were struck instantly.
Their eyes turned dull and unfocused as they stared blankly at Shisui.
The Mangekyō Sharingan rotated slowly as Shisui spoke in a low, steady voice:
"Forget everything from your past.
Follow Naruto's orders.
From this moment onward, everything you do will align with Naruto's will."
Naruto stepped forward, looked down at the two of them, and said calmly:
"Follow my orders. From today onward, I am your leader."
Kawaki and Code responded in unison, their voices mechanical:
"From today on, you are our leader."
The genjutsu was complete.
Both of them closed their eyes and collapsed backward at the same time. Suigetsu reacted quickly, stepping in to support them from behind.
He glanced at Naruto and asked curiously:
"Hey, Naruto… will they really listen to you like this?"
Naruto nodded.
"Yes. Kotoamatsukami directly alters a person's perception of reality. When they wake up, they'll unconsciously accept me as their absolute authority."
Suigetsu's eyes widened in amazement.
"That's insane… what a terrifying genjutsu."
Kabuto merely smiled faintly, saying nothing.
Orochimaru stepped forward, his hoarse voice carrying a hint of curiosity.
"Naruto, these two children possess the so-called Kāma you mentioned. Why not simply absorb it and eliminate the risk altogether? Why keep them?"
Naruto thought for a moment before answering.
"We need contingencies. This planet also needs people strong enough to help protect it."
In Naruto's view, Kawaki wasn't inherently evil. He was someone who longed for peace but had never been guided correctly. Keeping both of them wasn't a bad decision.
Naruto turned to Shisui.
"Shisui, thank you."
Shisui nodded calmly.
"It's nothing, Naruto. This is what I should do. If you ever need my power, you can take it at any time."
Naruto smiled and waved his hand.
"Not for now. Thanks for the offer."
Orochimaru then said,
"Naruto, Kabuto and I plan to stay here. There's a massive amount of information related to artificial bodies and modifications. We haven't finished analyzing it yet."
Naruto nodded.
"No problem, Uncle Orochimaru. Stay here with Kabuto. If you uncover anything important, share it with me."
Hearing this, Suigetsu immediately protested:
"Hey, Naruto! Can I leave? This place is way too boring. I'm stuck here with researchers all day!"
Jūgo glanced at him expressionlessly.
"I'm not bored."
Suigetsu: "..."
Naruto thought for a moment, then said with a smile:
"Suigetsu, Jūgo, you two stay here as well. The island was completely destroyed and all life here perished. Look around carefully—see if there's anything else worth investigating, then report to Uncle Orochimaru."
Suigetsu's shoulders slumped.
"Ah… seriously?"
Orochimaru smiled and looked at him.
"What's wrong, Suigetsu? Don't you enjoy staying with me?"
Memories of past experiments flashed through Suigetsu's mind. He immediately forced a smile.
"No, no, no! Lord Orochimaru, that's not what I meant!"
"Then stay," Orochimaru said calmly. "Follow Naruto's instructions."
Orochimaru then turned to Naruto.
"Don't worry. Leave this place to us."
Naruto nodded lightly.
In the next moment, Naruto activated Flying Thunder God and vanished with Shisui, Code, and Kawaki.
Konoha Village
Inside the Hokage's office, Code and Kawaki slowly woke up.
Before they regained consciousness, Naruto had already prepared a complete explanation for them.
He told them that they had lived outside Konoha since childhood, that Naruto had always been their leader, and that they were now returning to live in the village.
Because of Kotoamatsukami, they accepted this explanation without the slightest doubt.
In their minds, the position once occupied by Jigen had already been completely replaced by Naruto.
Naruto brought them before Kakashi.
"Kakashi-sensei, these two will be staying in Konoha from now on. They'll be enrolling directly into the Ninja Academy."
Kakashi, who already knew the situation from Naruto, nodded.
"Understood. I'll arrange special instructors for them."
Naruto nodded.
Shizune walked over and said gently:
"Come with me."
Code looked back at Naruto, frowning slightly.
"Leader?"
Naruto squatted down and spoke softly:
"It's okay. From today onward, this is your village. I'll arrange everything. You'll attend school here."
Kawaki frowned unhappily.
"Master, we learn directly from you. Why do we need school?"
Code agreed immediately.
"That's right. You're the real god. There's nothing others can teach us."
Naruto laughed, reached out, and rubbed Code's head.
"There's still a lot you both need to learn. Listen to me, alright?"
Under the influence of Kotoamatsukami, neither of them could disobey Naruto's will.
"Yes, Leader."
"Okay, Master."
Naruto stood up and looked at Shizune.
"Sorry to trouble you, Shizune-neesan."
Shizune smiled.
"Leave it to me, Naruto."
After Shizune led Code and Kawaki away, Kakashi stood up from the Hokage's chair and walked over to Naruto, observing him carefully.
"Naruto… you've changed a lot."
Naruto glanced sideways.
"Have I?"
Kakashi nodded seriously.
"Yes. I can feel something similar to Kaguya and the Sage of Six Paths from you now—a chilling presence, like… a god."
Naruto gave a bitter smile.
"Is it that obvious, Kakashi-sensei?"
Kakashi nodded.
"If it weren't for your familiar face, I wouldn't be able to tell."
Naruto laughed softly, then asked,
"By the way, weren't you traveling with Guy-sensei?"
Kakashi waved his hand.
"We went out for a bit, but neither of us could really stop worrying about the village. As soon as Guy came back, he started shouting about youth again."
Naruto nodded quietly.
Kakashi looked at Naruto's profile and said gently:
"Naruto, go home and take a look. You haven't seen Hinata in a long time."
Naruto's eyes softened.
Yes.
He really hadn't seen Hinata in a long time.
