Chapter 483 - Chapter 483: Recording Blessings from Friends from Other Villages

"Hokage-sama!"

Kakashi was still walking alongside Gaara and the other Kage, discussing logistics for tomorrow's wedding when a sudden shout echoed from down the main street. Three figures sprinted toward them, kicking up clouds of dust.

The Hokage and the assembled Kage turned their heads at the commotion.

When they got closer, Kakashi immediately recognized them — it was Konohamaru, followed closely by Moegi and Udon.

Kakashi gave a weary smile. I have a feeling I know what this is about.

"Konohamaru," he said, adjusting his Hokage hat, "your camera work can wait a moment. I still have business with the Kage here."

Before Konohamaru could reply, a towering figure stepped forward with curiosity in his eyes — the ever-energetic Killer B, younger brother of the Fourth Raikage and jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails.

"Yo! You that boy Konohamaru?" B said in his usual rhythmic tone. "Naruto's top disciple, right? The kid from Konoha with the fire in his sight?"

Konohamaru straightened up, puffing out his chest proudly. "That's right! I'm Sarutobi Konohamaru — Naruto-sensei's number one disciple!"

Even the Eight-Tails' host knew of him — that was something to brag about. It was obvious Naruto had spoken of him fondly to his friends from other villages.

Killer B crossed his arms. "Heh, so what brings you runnin' here, little bro?"

Konohamaru held up his camera proudly. "Brother Naruto's wedding is tomorrow! The three of us are recording blessings from everyone across the village — and now that all of you, his friends from the other villages, are here, we were hoping to record yours too!"

B's eyes lit up with excitement. "Yo, yo, nice! I'm gonna drop a rhyme, make it shine, and bless that bro of mine!"

Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon immediately readied their camera, lighting, and mic. B stepped into frame, cracked his neck, and struck a pose.

Kankurō smirked from the side. "This should be good. Hey, Gaara, after this, you better say something too."

Gaara blinked. "Huh? What did you just say?"

Kankurō chuckled. "You know, a few words of wisdom! Some life motto or something."

Gaara glared. "Idiot. What kind of life motto do you say at a wedding blessing?"

"Come on, Gaara, loosen up! It's your friend's big day!" Kankurō teased.

Temari sighed, crossing her arms. "You two should really control yourselves in front of the other Kage. Gaara's the Kazekage now — act accordingly, Kankurō."

At her sharp tone, both brothers immediately fell silent, exchanging embarrassed looks.

Meanwhile, Killer B began his musical blessing, dancing and rapping with unrestrained enthusiasm.

"Yo, Naruto! You're the man, the hero of every clan!

From Cloud to Leaf, your name's known,

Now it's love, not war, you've sown!

May your bond with Hinata shine bright,

Like lightning piercing through the night!"

The performance went on... and on... and on.

Konohamaru and his team were stunned. The rhythm was good, but B's blessing was so long that the recording timer nearly ran out.

Finally, Raikage couldn't take it anymore. He clenched his fist and shouted, "Killer B, enough! You're not putting out a music album!"

With a blur of movement, he body-flickered behind B and kicked him square in the back, sending the jinchūriki flying several meters away into a tree.

Straightening his posture, the Raikage turned to the camera and said clearly, "Naruto, I am the Fourth Raikage, A. It brings me great joy to hear of your upcoming marriage. On behalf of Kumogakure, I offer you my sincerest congratulations."

Darui and C stepped forward afterward, bowing respectfully. "Naruto, congratulations," Darui said with his trademark lazy smile. "May your days ahead be as bright as your spirit."

Konohamaru grinned. "Perfect! Thank you, Raikage-sama! That was awesome!"

With the Raikage's example set, the rest of the visiting Kage began recording their blessings one after another.

Ōnoki floated into view, supported by his jutsu. "Naruto, brat, don't forget — marriage is also a battle of endurance and compromise! Don't give up, even when the road gets rocky! Congratulations!"

Everyone chuckled at that. It was classic Ōnoki advice — equal parts wisdom and grumpiness.

Next came Mizukage Terumi Mei. She smiled warmly into the lens. "Naruto, I'm so happy for you and Hinata. Remember — a strong marriage, like a village, is built on trust and love. Take care of her, okay?"

Her charm made even Konohamaru blush behind the camera.

Finally, it was Gaara's turn.

He stood silently before the camera for a moment, his calm eyes reflecting sincerity. "Naruto," he began softly, "as your friend, I wish you a future filled with happiness and peace. You've changed the world — now, I hope you find the same peace within your home."

It was short, but heartfelt — simple words that carried years of friendship and shared pain. Even Konohamaru felt a lump in his throat hearing it.

As expected from Lord Gaara, Konohamaru thought. Even his few words hit deep.

Kakashi, standing nearby, clapped lightly. "Alright, everyone. Thank you for taking the time. Gaara, about the matter we discussed earlier — let's head back to the Sand Village."

Gaara nodded. "Alright, but... Naruto's not here, so we can't use his Hiraishin mark."

Obito stepped forward from the shadows, smirking beneath his mask. "That's where I come in. I can take you."

The air grew tense for a moment. The presence of Obito — once the masked Madara who had plunged the world into war — still carried heavy weight among the Kage. Even though he had been redeemed, his face brought back memories of pain and loss.

Gaara, however, understood Kakashi's decision. "That's fine," he said calmly. "Let's go."

Kankurō stepped up. "I'm going too. You'll need me to organize the troops."

Temari followed, but Gaara turned to her with a small smile. "Sister, stay. You should take this time to find the person you've been looking for."

Temari froze, face instantly turning crimson. "W-what are you talking about?! Who says I'm looking for anyone?!"

Gaara chuckled softly, ignoring her glare. "Let's go, Hokage-sama."

Kakashi nodded, turning to Shizune. "Shizune, gather the rest of the Konoha Twelve, except Naruto. Have them escort our guests and show them around the village."

"Yes, Hokage-sama," Shizune replied immediately.

The captain of the Anbu stepped forward. "Lord Hokage, shall we accompany you?"

Kakashi waved his hand. "No need. It's just the four of us."

With that, Obito activated his Kamui. His left Mangekyō spun, forming a spiraling vortex of space-time. The air warped and drew the four men inward — Kakashi, Gaara, Kankurō, and finally Obito himself — vanishing in a flash.

Sunagakure — Hidden Sand Village

A shimmering distortion appeared in the desert outskirts of Sunagakure, and the four figures stepped out of the Kamui portal. Obito had chosen a safe landing point — outside the sensor barrier that surrounded the Sand Village.

Gaara looked around and smirked. "You seem very familiar with our barrier's range, Obito."

Obito smiled faintly. "Old habits. Don't worry — I'm not planning anything shady this time."

Gaara nodded in amusement and raised his hand. The sand beneath them lifted like a living platform, carrying all four of them high into the air and gliding swiftly toward the village.

As soon as they neared the gates, the Sand Village guards spotted them and called out.

"Lord Kazekage! You've returned? Lord Kankurō too? Where's Lady Temari?"

Gaara landed gently and replied in his calm tone, "She stayed behind in Konoha. Listen carefully — summon the Kazekage's personal guard, mobilize the Chūnin task units, and gather half of our Jōnin. We're heading to Konoha to assist with Naruto Uzumaki's wedding."

Kankurō nodded and ran off to execute the orders immediately.

The guard captain, however, froze in confusion. "Wait... mobilize the Sand forces? Head to Konoha?" His eyes widened in alarm. "This isn't another... invasion, is it?"

He couldn't help but recall the disastrous Chūnin Exam years ago when Orochimaru had impersonated the Kazekage and led an attack on Konoha. That memory still haunted many.

Then his eyes fell upon the man beside Gaara — the silver-haired Copy Ninja in the Hokage's robes.

"Wait... is that... Kakashi Hatake, the Sixth Hokage?"

Kakashi smiled politely and gave a small wave. "Good to see you. No, don't worry — this is strictly peaceful."

Realization dawned on the guard's face, and he let out a nervous laugh of relief. "Ah… I see! For Naruto Uzumaki's wedding! Of course!"

Gaara turned to Kakashi. "Once preparations are complete, I'll bring the reinforcements myself."

Kakashi nodded appreciatively. "Thank you, Kazekage. It means a lot — to both me and Naruto."

Gaara smiled faintly. "It's for Naruto. There's no trouble at all."

The guard captain exhaled in relief. Good... they're not attacking Konoha this time.
