Chapter 285 - Chapter 285: Let Your Brother Tell You

The massive clawed hand of the Nine-Tails closed in around Sasuke, crushing him in its grasp.

Sasuke gritted his teeth as blood trickled from the corners of his mouth. Enraged, he let out a roar, and his eyes widened violently.

"Shinra Tensei!"

Once again, Sasuke unleashed the repulsive force of the Deva Path. But Naruto wasn't one to be taken lightly. He immediately countered by activating his own Rinnegan and using the same Shinra Tensei to suppress Sasuke's attack.

As a result, Sasuke failed to break free and was further overwhelmed by Naruto's power, completely immobilized within the Nine-Tails' chakra hand.

"Damn it! Damn it! DAMN IT!!"

Sasuke was furious. This version of Naruto was leagues above him—strong enough to suppress him effortlessly. He couldn't accept it. Even after acquiring the Rinnegan, even after mastering so much power, he still couldn't surpass Naruto!

Naruto looked at Sasuke calmly and said, "Calm down, Sasuke. I will make up for your regrets. You and I are destined to fight together. Don't be deceived by Obito or that bastard Madara."

Sasuke scoffed internally. Fight together with you? What a joke.

Naruto's expression turned serious. "I know you don't believe me. That's fine. I'll let your brother explain it to you."

With that, he loosened his grip and allowed the chakra hand to dissipate.

Sasuke dropped from mid-air and landed heavily on the ground, gasping. He instinctively clutched his side. The pressure from Naruto's chakra construct had cracked several of his ribs, and pain radiated through his body with every breath.

Blood still leaked from his Mangekyō Sharingan, trailing down his right cheek. Despite the pain, his gaze remained locked on Naruto.

"What the hell do you mean by that? What about my brother?" he demanded.

Naruto silently formed a seal. "You'll see soon enough."

As he spoke, he received confirmation from a distant chakra marker. Immediately, he initiated a reverse summoning using the Flying Thunder God Technique.

In a flash of light, four figures materialized beside him—Shisui Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, and Kabuto Yakushi.

Sasuke's eyes widened in disbelief, his Sharingan spinning violently.

"Itachi?!"

Itachi turned his head, his gaze falling on Sasuke, who was still crouched on the ground. His brother's battered condition told him everything. Looking to Naruto, Itachi asked flatly, "You fought him?"

Naruto replied with a straight face, "No. I beat him up. He refused to listen otherwise."

Shisui snickered. If anyone else had said that to Itachi, there would've been blood. But Naruto? He could get away with it—even when it came to hitting Itachi's beloved brother.

Itachi glanced back at Sasuke and said, "That sounds like him."

Shisui turned to Naruto and said, "We brought Kabuto back successfully. I used Kotoamatsukami to do it. But as you know, using that forbidden jutsu means Itachi's eye will eventually go blind. His Mangekyō won't hold up much longer."

Naruto nodded solemnly. "I understand your decision. It's alright. As long as you brought him back, and he joins us, then it was worth it. Like I said before—we have to adapt."

Shisui smiled in relief. He had been worried Naruto might disapprove. But now he saw clearly—Naruto truly viewed them as comrades. He respected their judgment, never acting like an authoritarian.

If this was the future Hokage, then the village—and even the entire ninja world—would truly be different.

Naruto turned to Kabuto with a small smile. "Brother Kabuto, it's been a while. Not since the end of the Chūnin Exams."

Kabuto adjusted his glasses and replied, "Yes, I didn't expect I'd fall so far. But now… I understand my mistakes. It was Shisui's Kotoamatsukami that opened my eyes. So—what do you want me to do next, Naruto?"

Naruto could tell instantly that Kabuto had been liberated from his delusions. Shisui's genjutsu had done its work—Kabuto now truly saw reality for what it was.

High above on a distant cliff, Obito's Rinnegan narrowed as he observed the scene.

Itachi… and Kabuto… were now on Naruto's side?

"Damn it," he muttered. "That means Naruto now has full control over the Edo Tensei forces. No wonder Madara's reincarnated body is starting to destabilize."

Madara remained composed, arms folded across his chest, observing the Uchiha brothers with interest.

"So… two more Uchiha appear. I thought the clan had been wiped out," he mused. "And yet, these two are not only alive—but strong. Such impressive ocular power. What a shame they're not on my side."

Obito's ears perked up at Madara's choice of words.

"They shouldn't be alive… not like this," he said. "They must've been revived using Edo Tensei."

"Edo Tensei?" Madara raised an eyebrow, then shot Obito a sharp look. "You should look more closely."

Realizing something was off, Obito narrowed his eyes and scanned Itachi and Shisui again. His Rinnegan detected a startling detail.

"They're flesh and blood…?"

He was stunned. Naruto had somehow managed to fully resurrect both Itachi and Shisui—flesh, blood, chakra, everything.

Madara's lips curled into a dark smile. "Fascinating. He's not like Hashirama. No… this one's a different kind of reincarnation altogether."

Nearby, Kisame Hoshigaki noticed Obito.

He grinned. "Ah, Tobi—or should I say Obito. Who would've thought our reunion would be like this."

Obito sneered. "Kisame, are you really still clinging to this world's lies? Why stand there with them instead of with me?"

Kisame gave Itachi a glance before replying, "I used to feel lost. I didn't understand myself. I lived behind the mask of what I thought I was."

He smiled faintly. "But Itachi once told me: 'True self-awareness is what defines reality.' And now… I've found something worth believing in."

He looked at Obito directly.

"Yes, this world is full of lies. Just like Kirigakure was—politics, betrayal, bloodshed. But even in that chaos, some people still believe in truth… in peace."

Samehada slithered from his back, brushing against his leg like a pet.

Kisame chuckled. "Even Samehada, once cold and vicious, has changed. He's found someone to trust."

Samehada darted toward Killer Bee, who had taken full Eight-Tails form. Bee reached out with a massive arm and snatched Samehada up.

"Yo! Samehada, my finned friend! Missed you! Where'd that smelly shark take ya? Back in my hands, now THAT's chakra!"

Samehada rolled happily in his palm, cooing contentedly.

Kisame smiled. "See? The world can change. You can't judge everything based on your own pain."

He looked over at Naruto.

"There are people who mend what's broken—like Itachi… and now, maybe even me."

Itachi, moved by the words, stepped forward and placed a hand on Kisame's shoulder.

Obito's eyes narrowed. He could tell Naruto was at the center of all of this—the reason Kisame, Kabuto, even Itachi were standing against him.

Just as he was about to speak, a furious voice broke the moment.

"Itachi! What the hell is going on?!"

Sasuke had forced himself to stand, one hand clutching his broken ribs. His eyes were wide with disbelief, and the pain in his voice wasn't just physical.

Because standing in front of him—undeniably alive—was his older brother.

Itachi Uchiha.

Made of flesh and blood.

Not reanimated. Not a genjutsu.

Alive.
