Three massive mountains were split cleanly apart by the devastating slash of Sasuke's blade, the sheer force sending shockwaves rippling through the landscape as debris exploded into the sky.
Tobirama Senju stared at the scene, utterly shocked. "This... this is no less than a second Madara!"
Madara Uchiha gave a nod of approval, his expression filled with satisfaction. Sasuke was truly formidable. He was worthy of being the reincarnation of Indra, just as Madara himself had once been. However, in his eyes, Naruto lacked the overwhelming power that Hashirama possessed.
Hmph. That's right. Hashirama could stand toe-to-toe with me. In this world, who else can compare with him?
Madara glanced sideways. "Obito, you've raised someone far stronger than Nagato ever was."
Obito snorted coldly. "We've done the same."
His words were layered with meaning. You trained me. I trained Sasuke. One generation trapped after another. That's how the Uchiha clan has always suffered.
Naruto, gazing at the three cleaved mountains, narrowed his eyes seriously. "Sasuke, calm down. If you keep this up, I won't have a choice but to fight you for real."
Sasuke scoffed arrogantly. "If you think you can, then try! Like you could ever defeat me."
There was no dealing with this version of Sasuke. Unless he got beaten into the ground, he wouldn't listen. A proper thrashing was the only language he understood now.
In response, Naruto let loose his chakra. Nine enormous tails unfurled behind him as Kurama's full power enveloped him in his Tailed Beast Mode.
He immediately fired a Tailed Beast Bomb, its destructive power roaring toward Sasuke like a comet.
Sasuke snorted, showing no fear. Activating his Susanoo, he raised a massive chakra blade and slashed upward, not at the Tailed Beast Bomb, but at the ground beneath it, redirecting the blast into the sky with precision.
"Hmph. So you're not dumb enough to cut the Bomb directly."
Naruto, riding on Kurama's back, formed two Rasengan—each infused with Nine Tails chakra. With a burst of speed, he leapt into the air, closing in on Sasuke.
"I'm not that foolish!" Sasuke growled as he formed a full Susanoo Armor, blocking Naruto's twin Rasengan with his forearms.
Naruto pushed harder, grinding the Rasengan into the Susanoo's chest, spinning rapidly, causing cracks to begin forming in the armor. With a massive explosion, Sasuke was sent flying back more than ten meters, despite holding his guard.
"Banshō Ten'in!" Naruto used his Rinnegan's gravitational pull to draw Sasuke toward him.
Sasuke resisted with a cold snort. "Shinra Tensei!"
The opposing gravitational forces—pull versus push—clashed violently in midair. Rinnegan against Rinnegan. Attraction against repulsion.
"You're not as strong as you think, Naruto!" Sasuke shouted.
Naruto grinned. "You're still as stubborn as ever, Sasuke!"
Without hesitation, Naruto removed the Rinnegan from focus and raised a gigantic chakra fist using Kurama's power, slamming it toward Sasuke.
Sasuke raised his sword, and the two clashed again. The intensity of the battle forced all spectators to retreat.
Obito and Madara moved aside. Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, Minato, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Kakashi, and Guy all stepped back as well.
Neither Madara nor Hashirama intervened—this fight was reminiscent of their own legendary battles.
Because of Naruto's earlier explanation, none of the other Hokage interfered either.
Obito glanced toward Kakashi, who lay half-dead on the sidelines, then looked away with a cold snort.
The battle between Naruto and Sasuke raged past ten rounds. Sasuke had already used several major techniques, and his chakra levels were starting to falter. Even his Susanoo armor showed signs of wear.
Madara noticed this and frowned. Back in his own battle against Hashirama, he too had been held back by chakra limitations. That's why he had used Kurama to fight. But in the end, Hashirama had still subdued the Tailed Beast.
"Sasuke," Naruto taunted, "looks like you're reaching your limit!"
Naruto rushed forward with a tail sweep. Sasuke blocked it with his blade, sparks flying from the impact. Then, Naruto's nine tails danced around him like a storm, pinning Sasuke down and driving him to his knees.
Enraged, Sasuke roared and canceled his full Susanoo, reverting it to a skeletal form. He then activated his Rinnegan again.
"Shinra Tensei!"
The repulsive force blew Naruto back. He landed, deactivated his Tailed Beast Mode, and immediately leapt forward again. Having already gathered natural energy earlier, he now entered Sage Mode.
"Sage Art: Super Big Ball Rasengan!"
A colossal Rasengan—glowing with blue chakra—barreled straight toward Sasuke's face. The Rinnegan's five-second cooldown hadn't reset yet, forcing Sasuke to raise his skeletal Susanoo defensively.
BOOM!
The Rasengan slammed against the skeletal arms, grinding fiercely. Naruto roared, pushing harder. Sasuke clenched his teeth, bones cracking under the stress.
Click. Click. Click!
The bones of Sasuke's Susanoo began to fracture. Naruto saw the opening and increased his power.
CRACK!
Sasuke's skeletal arms shattered under the pressure. Naruto seized the moment, returning to full Tailed Beast Mode. Two chakra arms burst from his back and lunged for Sasuke.
Sasuke's eyes widened. Five seconds had passed.
"Shinra Tensei!"
A repulsion barrier formed, shielding him again.
Naruto grit his teeth and charged in with brute force.
Massive Nine Tails chakra surged around him, coating his fists. Like during his battle against Pain, Naruto went berserk, charging straight through the repulsion field.
Sasuke's disbelief was written across his face. "Impossible... how are you breaking through this?!"
Naruto's chakra claws pierced the barrier and latched onto Sasuke. Luckily, Sasuke's right eye—his Mangekyō Sharingan—reacted in time, and his half-Susanoo protected him.
"Sasuke... I'm sorry."
Naruto's voice was low, but determined. He activated the Six Paths Sage Mode, a golden glow surrounding him.
"Break through!!"
Naruto clashed with Sasuke's Shinra Tensei, shattering it like glass. Sasuke's pupils shook in fear.
"Kurama!!" Naruto shouted.
"I got it!" Kurama replied, his chakra gathering rapidly.
"AHHHHH!"
The massive claw gripping Sasuke grew larger, stronger, and more solid. The sheer pressure caused Sasuke's expression to twist in pain.
"AAAAHHH!!"
Sasuke tried to resist, spreading his arms to reinforce his Susanoo's skeletal structure. The strain became unbearable.
Obito subconsciously took a step forward.
Madara crossed his arms, watching. "Not yet."
Hashirama's eyes stayed fixed on Madara, while Tobirama's Flying Thunder God Technique was primed to intercept should Madara act.
Naruto's chakra flared wildly. Sasuke's Susanoo groaned under the pressure. Bones cracked and shattered.
Naruto clenched his fist.
CRACK!
The remaining Susanoo bone snapped completely.
"AAAAAHHH!!"
Sasuke let out a scream, convulsing in agony.
"SASUKE!!" Karin screamed from afar, crying out in distress. She jumped forward to rush in.
Jūgo began activating Sage Transformation, intending to assist.
Only Suigetsu held them both back. "You'll just get yourselves killed! Madara and the masked guy haven't even moved."
"If you rush in now, what can you do?! Just squat down and wait!"
Despite his concern, Suigetsu understood Naruto. He knew Naruto wouldn't kill Sasuke. Not like this. And until Madara or Obito made a move... they could only wait.
