Halting, Rael leaned against the wall, his unsheathed sword lazily resting in his hand as he stared at the black-haired man opposite him, guarding a giant door that led directly to the portal room.
Silence hung in the air for a few short moments until Rael finally broke it with a sly remark:
"So, how does it feel being a fake?"
Alcetas raised a brow. "A fake?"
Rael sighed. "My bad, I should've started with an experiment. Doesn't make it any less fake though... But I assume you don't know anything, do you?"
"All I know is that you're intruding in the Silver Palace again," Alcetas replied coldly, yet his gaze flickered slightly, as if Rael's words stirred something within him. "This is our second time meeting, I believe."
"Second time here. We've met plenty of times on other occasions," Rael corrected. "Though that's enough about me, isn't it? It's not like who I am matters, when you are the interesting one."
