Rael stared at Roger from the side as he began frantically looking around, trying to find Rael, or where he could have possibly gone.
There was a reason why Rael didn't straight up go to where he wanted to, and that was to first make sure Roger was chasing a dead end.
And to do so, Rael reached for the sword around this body's waist before pulling it out.
All eyes fell onto him for a few short seconds as he pointed the sword directly at Roger.
"What will you do, Roger? Will you kill your men?"
An abrupt pause followed, when all of a sudden, another soldier moved, unsheathing his blade. This time, he was only a few meters away from Roger.
"Or will you grasp at straws again? You know what you want to do, Roger. You want to defy Solenne, right? Why else would you be erasing your own memory?"
Then, another body unsheathed its sword, pointing it at Roger.
