Theo kept one hand on the wheel, the other resting near the window as he casually drove through the quiet streets of the provincial town. He wasn't really headed anywhere specific. He just needed to clear his mind after the meeting with Beatrice and Marlon.
The sun was dipping lower, casting warm orange streaks across the sky. Yet even with the calm scenery and the breeze brushing through his rolled-down window, Theo's thoughts remained unsettled.
