Even though Joel forbade those employees from gossiping about Mo Shian, he was secretly happy that he did not have to face his cold face everyday. It had been torture for him, especially since he had to be next to him in meetings and other occasions.
It was obvious that the problem his boss' relationship had had been resolved. He really needed to thank the heavens. Now he could go home early and even go on the blind dates that his mother had been urging him to go on.
He also could not understand his mother. He was the same age as Mo Shian and they had been friends since middle school. He had always followed him, but was not as a genius as Mo Shian, so even though he managed to study almost to death, he only managed to skip a grade and graduated from high school at the age of 17. He enrolled in business school at the Capital University and got a double degree in finance and management. He graduated right before Mo Shian retired from the army.
