Mo Shian walked towards his wife and leaned down to plant a gentle kiss at the corner of her lips. He smiled at her and turned around to pull a chair out for her. Once she was seated, he rang the bell for the waiter to start serving their dishes. Since he knew all her preferences, he had already ordered the dishes as soon as he arrived at the restaurant earlier.
"Have you been waiting for long?" Xia Weiwei asked as she looked at her extremely handsome husband sitting across from her.
"No, it hasn't been long." Of course, he wouldn't tell her that he had already been waiting for almost forty five minutes. He would wait for days for her let alone a few minutes.
Of course, Xia Weiwei wouldn't really believe him since she already spent over 10 minutes talking to the mayor and she knew that Mo Shian had arrived earlier than that, but she wasn't going to expose him either.
