Peter sought many things to fill the void brought by loss, but he never imagined that a simple card trick would be the light of his life. Peter Parker learns stage magic as a child and realizes that pulling rabbits out of hats is just the first step before facing creatures that seem to have come out of a Lovecraftian horror.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The summary is silly, but for the first time, I feel like I've captured the essence of Peter Parker. I've always failed when trying to write Spider-Man fanfics. I'd make him lose his essence, trying to bring out the divine, badass, and perfect side that he doesn't need. I wanted him strong, but I couldn't let that strength take away who Peter Parker is. Then, out of nowhere, an idea came to mind: stage magicians, introducing Peter to magic through gods, or encounters with the best magicians? Oh, my gosh, I'll introduce him to the world of magic with an average magician who will teach him stage magic. He'll use his magic tricks along with gadgets to save people. We'll have a Spider-Man pulling spiders out of hats.
