I lightened my steps, doing my best to remain as quiet as possible. The men were on the other side of the wall of stacked shipping containers.
"Come, we'll start from this side. Get it loaded on the trucks. Leave the smaller containers for last."
I listened quietly before leaning out behind the blue container. In the distance, I could see the two men walking over to man the equipment necessary to lift the shipping containers.
Taking advantage of their averted gaze, I snuck around into the next row, looking through the manifest tags that were zip-tied to the doors of the containers.
No. No.. Not this one either....
I was checking the names of the companies that the containers belonged to until I finally came across what I've been looking for.
It was a half-size container that had the Moresi auction house logo on it. I quickly walked up to it to read the attached manifest.
"Contents: Antique Sculpture. Weight: 3,800 kg," I read it aloud under my breath.
