Though thinking about it more, there was no one left they needed to fuck up or who would even dare go against them… nobody would be that fucking stupid… and there was somthing bigger to think about as the car came to stop… a stop to finally see them.
That feeling immediately got to James… he felt his body turn into nothing but weight, like somebody was clinging to him, dragging him down… and that feeling was guilt. The guilt he still carried, the guilt he kept pushing down, deep down… but seeing the gates, seeing the headstones spread all around, dragged it all back to the surface.
"Should I go with you?" Hector asked as he saw James' eyes just looking at the distance.
"No, I'm good, take Charlotte and—"
"I say hi too." Her voice suddenly came as she looked up at James, and she looked nothing like somebody who just woke up from a good sleep… no, she looked like somebody who was up all the time.
"Did you pretend to sleep?" James asked as he eyed her.
