It was just so strange coming back to your home country and seeing the people outside, seeing them still having this atmosphere of peace, and moreover seeing the banner all over the city.
Though James knew it was all the work of propaganda, still seeing the banner of "Peace" and the operation that the government did just pushed the idea more than the people accepted it all. Moreover, seeing the park they went past, how many were there, seeing that there was no fear in people to be outside, there was another thing to it all.
Not just that but he saw it with his own eyes… the evidence of the raids as they went by houses that were completely burned out, houses that were shot up and still guarded by agents.
