"By the way~ ... Did you reach out to Elio?" Dion inquired casually.
Wendy hesitated. She didn't know what to answer on that. To be honest, she thought of contacting Elio several times, but each time she picked up her phone, her mind was clouded by various thoughts. What if she calls and he doesn't remember her? Or what if she sends a text and he doesn't reply? After all, they have only met twice, and their conversations were brief. Elio was a good person; there was no doubt in her mind about that.
But he was the youngest son of the elite Everests family, and countless people, male, female and others, must be dying to talk to him and get in his good books. She didn't want to come off as a mere opportunist.
After not getting any answer from her, Dion glanced at Wendy and called out, "Ms. Miracle, everything okay? You seem rather dazed?"
