Chapter 29 - You're beautiful

The car door shut with a solid thud, sealing me inside with him. Dominic slid in beside me, his cologne already wrapping around me like an invisible chain. The driver pulled away from the Voss mansion, and silence filled the space between us — heavy, deliberate.

I stared out the window for a while, trying to ignore the weight of his gaze. But eventually, the question slipped out.

"Why did you really come to pick me up, I thought I will spend another night there?" I asked quietly.

His lips curved into something that wasn't quite a smile. "You told me to punish you… not Micah."

I froze, the memory hitting me — the desperate plea, the bargain I made to keep Micah safe.

My fingers tightened in my lap. "What kind of punishment?"

"Oh, don't be scared, baby." His voice was low, almost mocking. "I'll take it slowly on you… since it's your first time."

My heartbeat stuttered. For a second, the meaning didn't register — and then it did. My breath caught, and a wave of heat rushed over me, not from warmth but from sheer panic.

I swallowed hard, my palms starting to sweat. My mind began to race, calculating every possible thing he might do, every corner I could escape to. The steady hum of the car engine felt suddenly loud, like it was counting down to something I didn't want to face then the car came to a halt.

The butler and two maids lined up in the foyer as we stepped inside. Clara, always with that polite half-smile, was among them.

"Welcome back, sir. Miss," the butler greeted.

I didn't wait for Dominic to respond. My legs carried me toward my room as fast as dignity allowed. Clara's footsteps followed close behind.

"No need," Dominic's voice cut through the hallway. "She can take care of herself tonight."

Clara hesitated. "Yes, sir," she murmured, turning away.

My hand closed the bedroom door behind me, shutting out the mansion's hum. I let out a breath — but it was short-lived.

The door creaked open again. I turned, expecting Clara.

It wasn't Clara.

Dominic stood there, the faintest shadow of a smirk on his face. His gaze roamed over me my bra, i was putting on my bra and the jeans I hadn't yet changed out of and something in his eyes darkened. I used my hand trying to cover my body.

My grip on the bedpost tightened. "Look… if you don't leave, I'm going to scream."

He stepped inside, closing the door with deliberate slowness. "And then what?" he asked softly.

Then it donned to me I was in his mansion and he is the boss so none will care when they hear me scream.

The click of the lock felt deafening.

He moved closer, one measured step at a time, like a predator humoring its prey.I think it's time for your punishment Liana"

His hand rose, brushing my hair back with a gentleness that made my skin crawl. Then his lips grazed my neck, warm and uninvited.

I flinched, but before I could move away, his mouth claimed mine — forceful, unyielding.

His hand cupped my cheek as he pulled me into a sudden, consuming kiss.

"Your friend's life depends on you listening to me," he murmured against my lips.

My breath hitched, shock mixing with something else i couldn't name. Against my better judgment, i found myself answering the kiss, my pulse racing.

His hand brushed over my butt, lingering, sending a tremor through me. I tried to push him away, but he only murmured, "I'll go easy."

His touch lingered at my waist, sending a rush of heat through me that made my breath catch. I didn't understand why my body was reacting when my mind screamed to keep my distance.

He began unfastening my bra, every movement unhurried, as though daring me to stop him. Heat rushed to my cheeks, and i clutched at the fabric.

I was stack naked in front of him

"You're beautiful," he said quietly, his eyes holding me as if he could read every unspoken thought.

But when his closeness became too much, I turned my face away.

"stop I'm not ready," i whispered.

He studied her for a long, unreadable moment, then stepped back.

"Fine." His voice was calm, but there was something dangerous under it.

He left without another word, the door clicking softly behind him.

I sank to the floor, pulling my clothes tight around her, hiding from the cold air—and from the storm he had left inside me.
