Chapter 28 - I came to take my fiancée home

The meeting had been long, but Dominic's mind was elsewhere as he walked the polished halls toward his office. That was when he saw the bold brunette from accounting who had been making her interest obvious for months.

Come to my office now" he said more like a command.

She walked behind him. leaned casually against the doorframe as theyreachedhis offic, lips curved in invitation.

Dominic didn't hesitate. "Shut the door and crawl to me on your knees" she did as he said.

Moments later, she was on her knees between his legs, eager hands on his thighs. He leaned back in his chair, letting the control settle over him like a familiar coat.

She took off her blouse exposing her b**bs, then unbuttoning his trousers

The door burst open.

Julian stood there, freezing at the scene. The woman scrambled to her feet, tugging her blouse into place before rushing out without a word.

Dominic's jaw tightened. " Fuck Julian can't 't you knock?"

Julian raised an eyebrow. "You have a s*x slave at home, and now you're all over an employee?"

Did I hear you say I'm over a b***h, she's made it obviousfor months now that she wants me to f**k her pu**y"

Dominic smirked, adjusting his cufflinks. "But You're right. I'm too soft on her… she's my slave, after all."

"That's not what I meant—" Julian started, but Dominic was already walking past him, leaving the conversation hanging in the air like smoke

Giggles filled the Voss mansion, the warm kind that made it feel almost… normal. For a moment, I let myself enjoy it. Jane was telling me something funny about her school days, Elias had just made Grandpa laugh, and I was sipping tea like I belonged here.

Then the sound of an engine cut through the air. The laughter faltered just slightly — not from fear exactly, but from the knowledge of who it was.

The front door opened, and there he was. Dominic Voss, all dark eyes and quiet authority, stepping into the living room like he owned the air itself. Which, in his mind, he probably did.

"Brother," Elias called warmly, walking toward him. Dominic didn't even glance at him. My stomach tightened.

"Why didn't you stay here last night, Dominic?" his mother asked.

"I was busy," he replied smoothly, like the question didn't deserve more than that. Then his eyes found me, and something in his expression sharpened.

"I came to take my fiancée home," he announced.

I blinked. Home? I had barely wrapped my head around being dragged to this mansion, and now he was deding where I should be without even asking.

"Why? I thought she would spend the night here again," Jane said, frowning slightly.

"Well, I missed her," Dominic said — and then, without warning, he brushed his lips against my ear giving me a faint kiss.

A jolt shot through me. Shock. Discomfort. But I smiled anyway, because I couldn't let them see the truth. That I hated the way his presence consumed me, the way he acted like I was his property.

"Okay, you two can go," his mother said warmly, "but she will come visit tomorrow."

I nodded politely, still smiling. Inside, my thoughts were a storm.
