Third person's POV
Amber sat beside her sister, Dove, who had been crying for days. The tears seemed to have become a permanent fixture on her face. Amber's patience had worn thin.
"Dove, come on, stop crying," Amber said, her voice firm but laced with concern.
Dove's eyes welled up again, her voice shaking. "He can't just leave me for that human girl." The words tumbled out between sobs.
Amber's expression hardened. She raised her hand, and before Dove could react, a sharp slap landed across her cheek. Dove's tears stopped momentarily, her eyes wide with shock.
"Enough with this," Amber said, her voice cold.
"We've been babysitting you for too long, and you're starting to think everything's about you, Dove. I've been threatened because of you. We all have." Amber's words hung in the air, heavy with frustration. "Just... move on."
Dove's eyes flashed with anger as she grabbed Amber's throat, slamming her against the wall.
