Chapter 456 - The Promise of Every Unown

So, even the wildest fantasies could become reality, as long as enough unown existed.

The most important thing, however, was the promise of a surprise once all the unown in every form were gathered.

'What could that surprise be? Maybe it would materialize something incredible, or perhaps it would grant you a Pokemon, or even fulfill one of your deepest wishes.'

Larry shook his head slightly, there was no use guessing now.

The truth would only reveal itself when the time came, though he knew that day might still be far off.

Unown were born in alien settlements or ruins, and it was unclear whether duplicates appeared.

Even if there were none, collecting them all wouldn't be easy.

Larry would have to visit 28 different alien locations to gather every unown.

Fortunately, the Dark Continent was vast and teeming with alien sites, so finding 28 seemed doable.

This included settlements that had been destroyed, like the Bone Tribe's territory; even if no one lived there anymore, totems could still be bred.

If, however, the requirement was that aliens needed to be alive in those settlements, then the number of possible totems might not reach 28 on the Dark Continent.

In a way, this fit perfectly with the mystery surrounding unown.

As rare Pokemon, only a few people had ever seen all their forms.

Achieving this feat remains a tough challenge.

Ging's Escape!

Mashado blinked his large eyes and stretched gently before turning his gaze toward the ruins on the opposite side.

Despite the thick dust lingering heavily, almost blinding anyone who looked, it didn't faze Mashado.

The smoke and dust, which had been drifting slowly, suddenly began swirling violently, as if countless invisible hands were stirring it up.

The mixture of dust and debris churned like boiling water, catching Larry's attention and pulling it away from the mysterious totem toward the battlefield.

Gradually, glowing light orbs started to emerge from the smoky haze, stepping out one by one.

It was clear these strange movements in the dust were caused by these lights.

Soon, countless orbs appeared, brightening the scene with their increasing glow.

Mashado's small arms naturally dropped to his sides, his eyes now filled with curiosity as he watched Chen Hui.

Then, a heavy breath surged into the sky, bringing with it a terrifying force that created intense air pressure.

Chen Hui, already unsettled, was completely overwhelmed by this sudden shift.

With the dust cleared, the scene became fully visible.

Standing on the battlefield were ten stone gold figures, each breath represented one of these formidable warriors.

Larry raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"Is this some kind of copy? But their..."

"Strength doesn't seem quite the same," he muttered.

"I wonder if their abilities match the originals?"

The first encounter promised to be intense.

After all, a single stone gold is an SS-level fighter with incredible power, and here there were ten of them.

Yet, as Larry observed carefully, he noticed their breaths were weaker, clearly not comparable to the original stone gold.

Still, having nine additional high-level fighters suddenly appear was a significant boost for Ging.

Could this be the aid Ging was relying on?

One of the Ging warriors glanced at Larry briefly, then locked his gaze on Mashado with a cold, sharp look in his eyes.

In reality, all nine Shijins were just illusions; the true Shijin remained hidden in the shadows, secretly pulling the strings.

Shijin considered its options as the nine fake Shijins charged toward Marshadow.

These duplicates were a new ability it gained upon reaching SS-level.

Although it relied on external aura and could only maintain this form briefly, it was still able to use their powers.

Essentially, by infusing aura into the rocks, Shijin could shape them into clones, much like molding clay figures.

These clones could wield abilities, but their strength was far inferior to the original.

After weighing its options, Shijin decided that creating nine clones was the best approach.

Despite having consumed numerous gems and storing a lot of aura, it wasn't infinite.

The aura would naturally drain over time and eventually run out.

If it could fully harness this power without external aura, it would confidently create more clones, knowing its massive reserves would allow rapid recovery.

Just as the nine stone duplicates advanced, they suddenly vanished, leaving only disturbed dust in their wake.

Almost instantly, eight stone clones materialized around Marshadow, forming a tight encirclement.

They used their teleportation ability to close in.

While not all possessed weapons like the Hundred Slashing Swords, their fists and feet alone packed a devastating punch.

Marshadow's eyes sharpened, and he launched a flurry of punches at lightning speed.

The air shimmered with afterimages of fists glowing fiery red, bright yellow, icy blue, and dark black, boxing infused with four different elemental attributes.

Despite the surprise attack, the stone clones moved slower than Marshadow.

To him, their actions seemed almost in slow motion, clear and deliberate, allowing him to counterattack flawlessly.

With a powerful strike, he punched through the bodies of the eight stone clones, creating gaping holes and sending them flying with loud crashes.

None of these eight were the real Shijin.

Meanwhile, the true body was making its escape, fleeing out of the cave unnoticed.

Larry barely even opened his eyes as a stone-gold figure suddenly appeared before him.

The stone gold's expression was completely wild, and even its clones shared the same crazed look, shouting angrily.

"Die!"

Since arriving in this new realm, the stone gold had realized that the strange "monsters" appearing out of nowhere were somehow connected to this creature.

With no hope of defeating the enemy directly, the stone gold decided to vent its frustration and make a tough choice: run away.

Saving its life was the top priority, after all, as long as it survived, there was still hope.

This breakthrough was just the beginning; it believed that with enough time and strength, it could return to reclaim its honor and seek revenge.

But first, it had to stay alive.

Ging knew direct escape was impossible because an overwhelmingly powerful monster was watching him closely.

So, he created nine clones, mainly to distract and draw attention, while he looked for an opening to slip away.

He hadn't fled earlier because these clones lacked consciousness and had to stay within a certain range to be controlled.

Deep down, he still hoped to turn the situation around.

That's why he sent one clone to attack Larry as a test, to see if defeating this creature would make the other monsters vanish.

Over the years, Ging had encountered similar situations.

Sometimes, a creature you see is just a puppet controlled by another hidden entity.

While the visible creature might be tough to handle, finding and dealing with the hidden one could make the visible one disappear as well.

Suddenly, a new creature appeared right in front of Ging.

His face changed drastically before he was punched into oblivion in an instant!

Floating calmly in the air, Tudiyun crossed his arms, his fierce eyes locked on the destroyed Ging clone.
