Evan: "My Family From...Another World?"
Evans thoughts tried making sense of this, but no matter how hard he tried to understand it, all he could come up with is that maybe these people were some form of distant relatives that he never knew about...and that they were from another place, Like a different country?
As Evan Was going to ask the officer about his Theory, he inturrupts him First
Officer 1: "Look I know it sounds strange, and you might not believe me when I say this, but you're not in your own dimension anymore"
The officer continues to explain how they have had several cases where objects, structures and even people have entered and left this dimension
Officer 1: "The goverment Studied all these cases and when having tested the objects and subjects, found out that the particles in the items were one, distinct from this world, and two, that the particles were extremely unstable and pulsating, like something accelarated them to An unthinkable speed and then somehow tanked the hit"
As the officer continued, the idea that all this was just a dream started to creep up on Evan
Even that all this is Some kind of purgatory and that he's actually dead, I mean, how could it not be true?, hearing the absolute insanity that the officer speaking, it felt like someone was punishing him.
Maybe when he heard that doorbell ring, it was some kind of death call and when he opened the door, maybe someone else on the other side shot him with a gun or something, maybe that's why he couldn't see Amelia anymore, or why his House Fell apart, and those sick Feelings
Evan was starting to get more and more convinced that he might be right.
Funny he thought, he didn't know he was this smart.
I guess my dad Was right in saying he saw more in me, even if my mom on the other hand said that she would love me all the same no matter if im stupid or smart.
Evan: "(heh...o-oh r-right...i-im probably not gonna be able to see them anymore...)"
Evan: "(w-well *sniffle* t-t-they r-really were right about me, I really am s-stupid, I got myself *sniffle* k-killed, and then I figured it out!
T-They really knew me well huh?, b-but I guess, that doesn't m-matter anymore")
Evan, now with his eyes feeling heavy and a troubled and pained grin, he tries to hold in his tears, he can't cry like this, his dad would say that boys don't cry because we have strenght instead, as a kid it sounded confusing,but he still had a big smile on his face
Even if what he said Was in line with toxic masculinity, coming from him instead, it sounded genuine and meaningful
If he could only see him now, what would he think?, because of him, his parents no longer have a son
Evan: "i-im s-sorry... Im SO S-SORRY!"
Running out of the police station, Evan desperately wants to get out of the situation, almost bumping into the strange familiar woman, he gets away while the Officers and the "Family" call out to him
Officer 1: "Hey get back here!"
Woman: "Evan!, dont go!, it's ok were here to help!"
Child 1: " Dad! Please don't leave!"
Child 2: "Dad no!"
Their Echod screams might aswell be backround noise, he couldn't care less who the hell they were or what they want
He just wants to escape
He just wants to go away
He just wants to be alone
He just wants to be...safe
After entering dark alleyway after dark alleyway, even he gets lost and that not on purpose
But still, he got what he wanted, he's safe now right?
Sitting down on the floor in the corner behind one of the trash cans, he settles in
He doesn't know why he's even here
But atlast he bends his knees and Drops his face into his lap, ready to just wither away, as what else is there to do?
I mean this is it
He's Gone
It's best that he accepts it, as there is nothing left
Sitting all alone, Evan thinks about his life, then his family, then his friends, then himself, then finally, nothing at all
All he takes in now is the darkness of the City night and the slight Sound of rain dripping next to and on him
It Was Silent
Then it wasnt
Woman: "Evan!!, there you are!"
Even though Evan fully decided on giving up, for Some reason the voice of this woman strangely got his attention
He still stayed in the same Position however
Woman: "We were so worried about you!, please don't run off like that, not again!"
As the woman stops her sentence, it's as if nothing changed and the same ambient sounds come back
Woman: "Are you ok!?, you're not hurt are you!?"
The womans desperate attempts at trying to talk to him come back
Woman: "I know hearing that you aren't gonna be able to go home anymore must hurt!, alot!, but please don't do this alone!, were here for you!
Nothing
Woman : "I know you dont know who I am, and thats ok! We just want to let you know that you're not alone here!"
Just shut up
Woman: "now that you're someone who has been sent over, the Gods keys are gonna wanna get to you, just like they did to!-"
just SHUT UP
Woman: "We're gonna have to keep you safe and hide you from them!, no one can know about you!-"
Evan: "JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE HUH!?!?!?"
Evan: "ITS OVER, IM GONE, I DONT KNOW HOW THE HELL IT HAPPEND!, BUT IM DEAD"
Evan: "DONT YOU GET IT!?, ITS OVER!, I NEVER GET TO LIVE MY LIFE EVER AGAIN, SEE MY FRIENDS, GO TO SCHOOL, MY PARENTS!, OR EVEN...
As quickly as Evan got up from rage is as quickly as he collapsed on his knees, filling up with new tears on his eyes as the World fully crumbles into him leaving him with One last thought
Evan: "even...love"
Woman: "Evan..."
Evan: "Amelia...she...loved me, a girl, liking me, even though I wasn't the strongest or smartest, and most importantly someone who thinks no one would even like them that way, that it would never happen, and now, it doesn't even matter anymore, she's probably heartbroken"
He thinks to himself how he doesn't want to wish that kinda pain onto her, but at the same time the idea that she would feel nothing pains him too
The coldness of the floor and rain suddenly contrast as Evan is Hit with sudden warmth
The kinda warmth he didn't know he needed in this very moment, a kinda warmth that would Wash all his worries away
The woman kneeled down onto Evans level
And hugged him
Woman: "don't say those things evan...she loved you to the bottom of her heart, because you were amazing"
The womans words started to strangely send away all of his negative thoughts in a manner Evan didn't even think Was possible
Like waves in an ocean
Woman: "You are strong, you are kind and smart and funny and all sorts of things, you were always there for me"
Something felt odd, her words felt like they weighed alot more than it should, and the way she Was talking reminded him of-
Evan: "wait...who are you?"
Woman: "she is heartbroken about your dissapearance Evan, I would know because...
I Am Her"
