Chapter 639 Apology

After Sasuke dispersed his Great Fire Annihilation with the Sword of Totsuka, he immediately picked up the Flame Uchiwa that was stuck in the ground.

'What's wrong?' Ino asked.
Sasuke's expression was conflicted. He hesitated for two seconds before pointing to her cheek.
Was there something on it? Ino reached up to wipe it and found her hand covered in lipstick marks.
She felt a bit awkward. After waking up, perhaps influenced by the atmosphere of the great war, the usually reserved Hinata, worried for her safety, had expressed her feelings in a slightly more unrestrained manner.
She wiped her cheek vigorously a couple of times, then changed the subject to cover her embarrassment: 'Ahahaha, honestly... look how big this box is.'
Sasuke stared straight ahead. 'It's on your neck, too.'
Ino quickly wiped her neck twice more. 'Ahem, ahem, it's gone now, right? Let's get back to talking about this box.'
With the little interlude over, the two began to discuss serious matters.
'What have you discovered?' Sasuke found her moon-white robe and the magatama pattern on her clothes a bit strange, but he didn't press the matter, focusing instead on the box before them.
'The people from the Land of Grass said this is a ninja tool used by the Sage of Six Paths?'
Sasuke nodded. 'That's the claim, but many don't believe it, thinking it was created by later generations.'
Ino said in a definitive tone, 'This is a ninja tool of the Sage of Six Paths.'
From the craftsmanship, the application of chakra, and some of the underlying concepts, one could tell this was indeed the work of Master Six Paths. However, it was likely an early piece. As for its purpose? It was probably meant to grant wishes, but how did it end up in this demonic state?
She tucked the question away in her mind to ask about it later when she had time.
Proficient in Yin-Yang and the Five Elements Release, she could now be considered one of the world's top masters of sealing jutsu.
Jiraiya and Orochimaru had the 'Five Elements Seal' and the chakra-reversing 'Five Elements Unseal.' Ino now used a similar technique, reversing the order of Yin and Yang chakra—turning Yin to Yang and Yang to Yin—to close the Box of Ultimate Bliss in reverse.
The four faces representing joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness on its sides switched from a clockwise to a counter-clockwise rotation. With every ninety-degree turn, the open portal closed a little more. After three full rotations, the four walls sealed shut, once again forming the large, five-meter-tall box.
Ino used Shinra Tensei to cast the box into the depths of the sea.
Having lost the support of the Box of Ultimate Bliss, Kazuma's body could no longer be repaired. He dissipated completely, turning into wisps of black smoke.
The Box of Ultimate Bliss incident at Hozuki Castle was completely resolved.
Ino looked at Kakashi.
'Your eye is...?'
'Madara took it.'
'Didn't you leave any kind of seal on the eye?'
Kakashi gave a bitter smile. 'I don't know the Uchiha clan's Transcription Seal.'
Ino reached out and swiped a hand over his eye socket. The power of Yin-Yang Release took effect, and an eye grew out of thin air.
What was reborn was a normal human eye, not a Sharingan.
Yin-Yang Release is said to create from nothing, but in reality, it mobilizes the subject's own cells for high-level restoration. Even if Master Six Paths himself performed the procedure, Kakashi has no Sharingan in his bloodline, so Yin-Yang Release couldn't create one for him.
'Why did Uchiha Madara take your eye?' Ino asked seriously.
Kakashi sighed softly. 'Because he needed to enter the Kamui dimension.'
Ino finally pieced the string of events together. She looked at Kakashi, puzzled. 'Does he think Obito's body is in the Kamui dimension, and he wants to reclaim his Rinnegan? Or... does he have some kind of jutsu that let him know Obito is still alive? Is he certain that Obito is hiding in the Kamui dimension?'
Kakashi lowered his head. 'I'm sorry. I hid it from the village and went to see Obito in secret.'
Ino was a little disappointed. The fact that Obito was still alive was somewhat unexpected for her.
She shook her head gently. 'You don't need to apologize to me; this has little to do with me. You should focus on how you're going to explain this to the Fourth Hokage and Naruto. So now? Who do you think will emerge from the Kamui dimension? Obito, or Uchiha Madara?'
