Kingsley chuckled. "What?" He stared at Jasmine and she let out a sigh before falling back on the bed.
"Annoying." She muttered under her breath, staring up at the sky again.
A comfortable silence followed as Kingsley lay next to her, both of them stargazing from the tent.
It was relaxing for Kingsley who hasn't felt this much contact before. Who hasn't been this much comfortable in a long time with or without someone.
"Thank you for this trip." Jasmine suddenly broke the silence.
"I think I'm grateful too. I love it." Kingsley told her. His eyes fell to her lips and back to her face. "I love being here all alone with you."
Jasmine inclined her head to look at him. "For real?"
Kingsley nodded. "Remember, I told you that I like you?"
Jasmine hummed and Kingsley smirked. "Maybe that's the reason." Without even waiting for her to digest the words, he leaned in and planted a kiss on her cheek. "And you're also very pretty."
