_____[FLASH BACK —1 DAY]

Sitting in the darkness of an enclosed room, two figures set on chairs as their gazes locked on each other's view.

"Ringmaster", Spoke a women, as she gazed at Ken's focused opened eyes.

"You want me to kill him?", Ken asked, his face showing a hint of confusion.

"Drugs, human trafficking, quirk trading", her eyes not leaving his, "believe me, Odin, this is only a coincidence".

But Ken as if not convinced just looked away, staring at Hawks who stood behind her sitting figure.

"Will you do it?", her voice asked although hinting command.

"You do realize what you are asking me to do, don't you? ", Ken's voice sounded rather optimistic as if he was asking them if they realized the weight of his soon-to-come rewards, "You want me to budge into the underworld, slather a lot of its residents, and kill its king", Ken words released as he rested his back on the chair he was sitting on, his posture too comfortable.

But his face as if always on guard remained full steel, his eyes still locked and unresting.

"Now tell me, what's in it for me?"

______[GENERAL] {FLASH BACK END}

Ken's movements were still, no acceleration, no stop, just constant momentum of unseen speed, his black clothes laggy and loose as if to increase the intensity.

Blood, heads almost coming off body, as spikes of blade emerged from ever so silent ground, it was frightening.

His face almost fully colored by red liquid of life, its gore resembling color of his cold unbothered eyes, he was ruthless —a demon if some might call —its spitting image.

Hawks emerged from the upstanding ventilation, as Ken didn't even acknowledge his presence.

But as his eyes saw sight of soulless bodies, His wings began their halt —an indication of the hesitant —the weak.

Was it surprise of what his eyes had seen, or was it pending danger of coming misbelief.

No, it was fear.

Not even he, a man who had killed so many, not even he had ever slaughtered this much in total life, but this child, moving with speeds so light —had butchered a hundred.

For a second his wings refused to float, as his mind asked himself a question, 'Am I a hero'.

But as Ken dashed forward, his thoughts became disturbed.

So he followed.

He followed a child that reaped so many, their blood not even touching Hawks's body, only because its splash grew intercepted by the spike that reaped their flesh.

The ground, its original color not even familiar, as red made paint.

The smell so heavy, he could swear his nostrils grew minds of own, holding in till front drew stop.

So Hawks pace followed as he looked at the now standing devil in flesh —and he spoke.

"It's done", Ken said, "it's entirely cleared, so if the information is right he should be in the hall, he must have already figured out we are coming, so it's bound to be a fight",

Yet his words bounced off birds' ear, as Hawks only knobbed,

"How many can you take", he voiced,

"As much as possible", Ken replied, his voice sounding cold but with slight hidden confidence.

"Are you ready?", he asked but Ken was gone, a blur —the possibility of nonexistence.

And Hawks followed suit.

________

Barging inside of a large hall, it was empty.

But in the middle, sitting on a chair and his hands resting on a desk, 'Ringmaster', set there comfortably.

Yet his eyes locked on both Ken and Hawks who had just barged in.

"You are late", he said, but his voice had faded due to the large distance between them, and the only person who could hear its sound was Ken.

"So what do I call you?", he continued, as if he knew that the only person who was listening was one.

"Is he saying something?", Hawks asked but Ken ignored, as he moved closer,

"Odin?, Killer? Butcher of innocence?" his words cutting deep, yet Ken's pace remained.

"All of those they sent you to kill, yet they call themselves heroes?", he continued, "then what am I?! What am I if those monsters you call heroes call themselves good?!", his words increased by shouts as Ken drew inches.

"Dead", Ken's whisper was louder than anything ever spoken. Even Hawks's heart skipped when his voice left lips.

And as if to make it clear,

"You are dead", he repeated his words, looking dead straight at the man who sat lazily watching them,

"Wrong Odin!, you are wrong," Ringmaster spoke, "Because you are dead", and as if awaiting his words, shadows from the outside blasted through the windows, some so strong they smashed through the walls, and as if with pride, "you are all dead", ringmaster announced, his words caring loud and untainted confidence, as he relaxed his posture and closed his eyes, his breath breathing in the air of the dust brought in by the fallen walls.

But he knew nothing, because deep inside, inside face of steel, inside eyes of dozen birds that saw their approach,

Ken was only thinking of one thing, 'more template points'.
