Chapter 69: No Room For Failure!
A devil's roar wasn't like a human's shout.
Its reach was phenomenal, and for that very reason, Ken and Darek used it as a signal.
If Darek were to hear anything strange, or in this case, a roar, he should act.
Thus, the young man, fully ready and wearing black clothes, left through his room's window and, with practiced technique, found his way to the second floor from outside.
He wasn't going to give the doctor any chance, nor risk being found out.
He would take things slow and trust Ken's plan to kill the wretched contractor in one fell swoop.

"What a foolish kid." The doctor, in a room of his own, looked through a window, and upon seeing the red fog, shook his head.
In his confidence, he eliminated any chance of the devil's shout being dangerous for him.
If anything, it was for his own good.
Now that people heard such a scream, their mood would fall down considerably, and in turn, Ken and his group would take even longer.
