Celina lay there a moment, panting like she was terrified, then scrambled up and ran forward with the others.
'I hope no one saw that!'
She thought to herself, secretly looking around. She couldn't risk getting exposed.
By the time they reached the halfway point, the group had shrunk by nearly half.
Some were missing. Some injured. Some are too terrified to move.
The remaining students pressed onward grimly. She didn't have time to think about them and kept moving forward. Just after they passed the middle of the tunnel... Celina caught sight of a familiar figure up ahead- Thane.
Her brows furrowed in confusion.
He was fighting bravely, his gifted sword flashing in the mist. But he was clumsy, inexperienced. A tentacle wrapped around his ankle, pulling him off balance.
AHH!
He yelled as he hung upstairs down.
"What the hell is that brat doing?"
Without thinking, Celina moved.
She scooped up a broken sword from the ground and hurled it with deadly precision.
