Levan glanced at Nova as he took the lead on dealing with the woman himself. He had seen many things from Nova before, but this was not one of them. He had never seen that much anger inside of him before and it was almost palpable.
"I am not going to be nice about this, so I am curious as to how she got taken in the first place; she is always careful. Where was she taken from? Who ordered it?" he asked quietly.
"Like hell I am going to tell you, I am not afraid of pain," she spat and a smirk tugged at his lips as his eyes darkened.
"Good," he replied. "Because you are going to feel every bit of it until you forget what silence even means, I am not going to go easy on you people anymore, you should not have touched her."
The shadows deepened around them and Levan's eyes narrowed as he kept his gaze fixed on him.
But he said nothing; he knew Nova was not doing anything wrong, so he watched silently, unmoving, but respectful. This was Nova's burden, his judgment.
