It was clear to anyone that none of them had ever seen Nova like that before. They had seen him get angry, and they had seen the way he fought when he did, but this was something else entirely; it was as though a switch had been flipped in his head, the minute he found out that she was taken.
For her, he was willing to go to lengths he had never thought of before and the others could see that then and there, even if he could not as yet, she could see it as well, something had shifted inside of him, one that was willing to go the extra length.
"I am not done with you yet. I will personally have a chat with you later and it will not be pleasant, that much I can assure you, I will not care you are a woman, just like you did not care about what you did to her. Lock her up," he said as he turned to Levan. "Somewhere far from light or sound, I will be there in a while."
Levan nodded and dragged her away, despite her renewed screams. The door shut behind them like a closing tomb.
