Ethan stood at a high vantage point, overlooking the ruins below.
The Corpse Guard he had lured was still chasing him—relentlessly, single-mindedly. It had been ages since he'd used the Owl Form to kite monsters like this. Back then, he did it because his damage was too low to fight head-on. Now? Honestly… he just felt lazy.
Since he had to kill them one by one anyway, why not let the system do half the work? Only a fool would waste effort needlessly—especially when he had skills that boosted his jump height and mobility.
He checked the Leaderboard again.
Zachary's character, Overlord, was hot on his heels, only two percent behind in experience.
That was too close for comfort.
