Third person POV
[Flashback ended, back to the present…]
Basilio and his entourage had a good chat with Katsuko, Kahraman, Viviana, Valeria, and a few of Valeria's tenants. Katsuko had revealed his backstory, both in his past life and his current life here, to Basilio and his circle, who were quite shocked at these details.
"Wow…for me…" Basilio responded by commenting, "…I died to a landslide while pushing my friends out of the way, taking the hit instead."
Katsuko and the others on their side were quite shocked and stunned.
"Wait, what?"
"To a landslide?"
"That sounds unbelievable…"
Basilio then nodded. "Yes, but it happened, and that's how I got to this world almost a year ago."
"Wow…" Katsuko replied back, "…man, you're lucky to be in this world."
"Yeah…and this and that happen, and bam, I become the leader of the Forest Vamzoms after one attack by them on my 6th day of my life in this world."
"Wait, what?!" Katsuko replied while being shocked. "Is that one of the attacks of theirs with helicopters and pistols?"
"Yes."
"Yes, Katsuko-kun," Valeria added, "these things are true, and it happened in a town called Fresa de Ard, just south from here within Dimwell."
"Man! That's not freaking fair!" Katsuko was in despair. "I wished I had seen that and joined in the action against them!"
He then acted as if he was devastated for not being able to know that, before regaining his character again and saying, "Well, at least you survived their assault and became their leader. You're one tough nut, man."
"Yeah, but a lot had to happen before I became their leader," Basilio replied, "and that attack was more in detail."
"Oh, so what happened at that time?"
And so, Basilio and his Vamzom circle explained to him and everyone else in the scene what went down on that final, indiscriminate attack in Fresa de Ard.
A few minutes later, Katsuko and everyone in his side were shocked, while Kahraman and Viviana, who knew a bit of it, were stunned to hear the whole picture. "Woah, what?!" Katsuko was shocked, again, "You survived their deadly attack thanks to an ability called Short-Term Survivor ability?"
"Yeah, and apparently, it was from the goddess of healing," Basilio replied.
"The goddess of healing, eh…"
But none of them knew nor mentioned who that goddess of healing was.
Instead, Katsuko and his side felt bad for what happened to Ruslan and how he ended his own life.
"Yeah, and here am I, now the leader of the Forest Vamzoms," Basilio responded back.
And so, the visit to Katsuko's home ended at 4:11 p.m., with Katsuko giving a tactical jacket in black and dark grey to Basilio before he and his Vamzom guard circle would go back to Nuevo Tacloban. That jacket had a special property known as Cloth Shield, a magical property that can be applied to any piece of clothing by enchanting it with a special, rare stone called Diamond Stone.
"Here," Katsuko said to him, "this is my gift for you."
Upon seeing that, Basilio was stunned, and was his guards.
"Wow, is that for me?" he asked.
"Yup, I got this from the Isekai System Shop for dirt cheap," Katsuko replied while nodding.
And so, to solidify their new friendship, Basilio accepted it and liked its looks, textures, and material composition. It fits his upper body right and was soft and flexible so he could move his arms and hands around freely.
"Thanks!" he said to Katsuko happily and gratefully.
Katsuko then smiled back. "You're welcome, man."
