Chapter 9 - Crystal cave

As soon as Levi woke up, he remembered what the guard had told him last. He quickly rose up and left the place in a hurry. On the way, he bumped into one of those giant ebony skinned men whose eyes stared at Levi with pure disgust.Confusion colored Levi's expression, but he ignored it and looked away, focusing on his search for one of the guards. Before long, he found one: a gaunt, unmoving figure adorning a full set of metal-plated armor. He had a mace at his side, ready for anything. "My good sir, which way to the crystal caves if you will?" The guard remained silent for a minute, and then he moved his hand, pointing his finger toward a direction down the corridor. Levi quickly made his way to the location he was given. He saw a door, completely ordinary, yet for some strange reason Levi's instincts screamed that something was off with it. He felt repulsed by the door, as if the door itself hated him. But surely doors don't have feelings so Levi just ignored it. standing at the door he hesitantly knocked. He was certain that he knocked just a little, yet mysteriously, his knuckles began bleeding. A searing pain shot through his hand. His hair stood on end, He was instantly alarmed. He looked at the door but could not find the object that cut him. Then his hand started bleeding profusely.

~My hands, they are bleeding!! What the hell happening?!!!~

The blood painted the door and it then begun to glow crimson. With a soft click, the door swung inward, revealing a dark passage. Levi stepped through into the passage that sloped steeply downward. He didn't forget to glare at the door before entering. He followed the single tunnel deep underground. It was a cave with its walls and ceilings littered with multiple glowing crystals and gems. The cave reached its conclusion, and Levi could see the silhouette of a person a bit in the distance. The crystals that were on the walls near this silhouette glowed with burning intensity, revealing it to be Lord, Rynel. Rynel stood beside someone Levi couldn't recognize. It was a handsome young man with attractive auburn hair. His stature was muscular and imposing. He adorned tattered rags, unlike Rynel and Oren; this young man had a face with everything in check.

"I'm sorry for being late.Lord Rynel" Levi curtly apologized, and then his gaze turned to the handsome young man."the next time you repeat this will be your last" Rynel said, sending shivers down levi's spine. sensing the question, Rynel added spoke, "This man Nikov, He will be in charge of training you from Now on."

"What type of training?" Levi asked

At that moment, Rynel grabbed one of the burning crystals, pulled it out of the wall causing it to ignite with blue flames. Rynel slowly inched towards Levi. Rynel once again spoke, but this time directly into Levi's head, "Don't move an inch; otherwise, you are as good as dead."

Rynel tore off the simple tunic Levi wore with his bear fists. He seemed to notice the black vein on Levi's body but simply ignored it; he stabbed the burning crystal straight into Levi's chest. The sky blue flames roared as they charred Levi's skin.Levi screamed in agony, falling to his knees, blood seeped out from all of his orifices. Rynel then removed the crystal, whose glow slowly died out, and threw it away. Levi fell helplessly to the floor, clutching his bleeding chest. "and for being late."Rynel spoke, then swung his armor clad leg to deliver a powerful kick to Levi's head, which instantly knocking levi unconscious
