Ian walked into his bedroom, he had expected to see Angelica there and right she was. Seated on the couch with the ever-present scowl on her face, it made him chuckle internally because he knew if he laughed out loud, she would definitely increase the intensity of her scowl.
"You seem to be really lost in thought," he said sitting down beside her.
Angelica who was aware of his presence from the moment he walked into turned to him and frowned.
"As always, you are in a bad mood, so Edward keeping you company did not tire you out in the slightest?" he chuckled.
"You should know if he did, after all, you sent him to keep an eye on me, your highness," Angelica scoffed.
"Correction, my lovely wife, I did not send him to keep an eye on you, he wanted to keep you company of his own volition, secondly, I have to remind you that you only have a day left before you have to stop calling me your highness," Ian winked.
