[3rd POV]
The rest of the morning had been spent enjoying a nice and tasty breakfast with Rias, and talking about all sorts of random topics that probably didn't really matter all that much. Like school, which Rias was pretty open about her growing dislike of that place, and the fact that school was...well, kind of useless to her at this point.
But after that, the rest of the day had been spent in Kuoh, primarily helping with the training of Rias and her peerage. As well as Sona and her peerage. The latter needed it far more, so she had decided on giving her extra resources for said training.
Those resources were mostly entirely new potions and wards that she had created specifically in order to institute a meaningful increase in training speeds in them. And it had. They had all recently reached ultimate class in power, with Sona herself being low Satan class.
Not on the same level as Rias, but she was getting closer and closer. Morgan estimated that the younger Sitri sibling would be at Super class within a couple of years, and should reach around her sisters level (her current level at least) by that time.
It was impressive growth, and far faster than any other high class teen besides Rias herself. Well, Rias and the members of Morgan's growing peerage.
Speaking of her peerage, Morgan had been looking into new members she could recruit after her most recent recruitment of Lilith. And she found that there was...a severe lack of candidates at this point in time.
Mostly because she had already snatched all the good ones, or the others were already in peerages of other devils. Devils that were not evil or bad, as she made certain of that. All the evil devils had been...taken care of a long time ago.
She was a little annoyed with the fact that she no longer had easy targets to recruit, but she decided that it was in the end, better for the devil society as a whole. The peerages of other devils were eating stronger and stronger, and she couldn't really complain about that, now could she.
But today was a special day for Morgan, a very special one.
For it was the day that the Yokai faction would officially be inducted into the Heavenly Demonic Faction, and would now become a member of her growing power. This induction was to be done on Kyoto grounds, with all the important members of both sides appearing, and without the knowledge of the Shinto Gods.
As sure, they might be the Gods of Japan, but they are NOT the Gods of Yokai, they are simply the ones that preside over them. That holds dominion over the lands that they live on, that is all. Nothing more, nothing less.
The Yokai didn't particularly care for them these days anyways, with these Gods all but abandoning them during certain events, instead showing all of their grace and favor to the Clans that looked down upon them, and literally hunted them.
Whereas Morgan was treating them incredibly well, as was her entire faction. Where there was once dislike and racism, there was now a sense of comradery. The devils saw them as future members of their growing "Family", as more members of the same civilization.
They saw them now as the yokai.
Not only did Morgan treat them well in terms of how she sees them, Moran also had given them opportunities well beyond what the Shinto Gods had given them.
This came in the form of "Class Talismans" which were essentially the new form of Evil pieces that had been created for Yokai, allowing them to reincarnate others into their species, with their permission of course. They would also make the "King" of the peerage stronger on top of that, being even more useful to them.
It would essentially cause a revival of their species as a whole, and give them the means to eventually rival the power of the Devil species, Fallen Angel species, and Angel species. All of which had their own form of evil pieces, or had received another means to grow stronger, in the case of the angels and Morgan helping with the revival of their numbers.
The induction was a simple affair, but an important one.
Which is why Morgan was current sat at the head of a large table, staring out at the crowd of yokai, devils, angels, and fallen angels in the room.
At her left was Yasaka, at her right was Serafall, further down to the left was the angels and fallen angels, and then to the right was the rest of the Satans.
The leaders of each of the primary species of the Heavenly Demonic Faction. All of the most important people that mattered in this situation. The Shinto Gods were no doubt finding out about the meeting right now, but they couldn't do jack shit to stop it.
Every person sitting behind the large table was stronger than their strongest God, afterall. Even Yasaka, who had been massively strengthened after Morgan helped train her in Chakra.
She was around super class in power, and that level of power was well beyond any of the Gods in the Shinto pantheon, the only one that was close was Amaterasu herself, and maybe Izanami. But Izanami was currently...not really able to cause any issues.
So if anyone was to come here to kick up a fuss, it would be Amaterasu.
Looking out at the group of people that were gathered for this momentous occasion, Morgan smiled, as she began to speak out out to the people in the room.
"To all of those that have come here for this momentous occasion, thank you! For it is all of you that made this possible! For our Yokai brethren to officially join the greater Heavenly Demonic Faction! To be broken from the shackles that bound them, the Gods of the Shinto Pantheon. Cheers!" Morgan said, raising a glass as the others lifted theirs.
The children had apple cider in theirs, nothing alcoholic. Yasaka would have her head if she had given her daughter champagne or anything similar.
The induction ceremony itself wasn't actually that crazy or special. It was basically just a simple dinner and a celebration, as all the paperwork and agreements had already been signed. This was more so the public announcement of the merger, as they would now allow the leaks of this information to spread to the other factions.
With one of them being spent ahead to the Shinto ahead of time.
Morgan was hoping that the Shinto Gods blow a gasket and try something stupid. So she can either have an excuse to deal with them in a more permanent manner, or she was hoping that they would come to talk about a possible merger of their own.
She highly doubted the latter would ever happen, but it sure would be interesting if it was possible.
"This is going far better than I was expecting" Yasaka whispered in her ear, as she sipped on her own champagne, while also eating the delicious steak that Morgan had cooked herself.
She had actually cooked all of the food being served today, and had made the other drinks as well. With all of them being potions that would help those here today grow faster and some other things. Nothing negative about them what so ever.
She thought she'd give out a slight gift, just to be nice and all.
"Yeah, I was expecting Susanoo to march down here and try to start a fight. I any Shinto God will cause problems, it'll be him" Serafall added, nodding in agreement with her foxy friend.
Morgan inwardly remembered Susanoo. He was a storm God, a pretty powerful one at that. Likely somewhere in Satan class in power, but not strong enough to be an issue when in the presence of like 10 different Super Class beings, and one that is well beyond super class.
Morgan contemplated what she would do with that man. As Amaterasu was one thing, but Susanoo was another. The man was annoying and very very aggressive, not to mention easy to anger. While Amaterasu, from how Yasaka had described her, was far more cheery and upbeat.
She was a ray of sunshine, funnily enough.
Which is why Morgan was hoping for a merger, as the woman didn't seem evil or anything, just kind of stupid and easily manipulatable. As she had a feeling Amaterasu was not behind the recent bias that was being shown.
As Morgan contemplated the Gods of the Shinto pantheon, she paused when she felt someone powerful enter the area in front of them, the others also noticing as they looked up.
Only for them all to blink in respite when a golden glow curled in the opening. As a God class being stood there. She was beautiful, with long pink hair and yellow eyes. Most notably, she had fox ears and a fox tail. While the others knew who this was because of the words of Yasaka, Morgan had an entirely different reaction.
For this was not the Amaterasu she was expecting. For this so called "God" looked exactly like...
