Valkyrie narrowed her eyes with complex emotions. She hadn't expected Thor to arrive on Sakaar, which meant Hela had been released from her imprisonment.
As soon as she witnessed Hela on the sky screen, memories flooded back to the devastating battle many years ago. Asgard's legendary Valkyrie Legion had been systematically slaughtered by Hela, leaving only her as the sole survivor.
Valkyrie undoubtedly harbored deep hatred for Hela, but simultaneously felt profound fear of her overwhelming power.
Only those who had experienced it firsthand could truly comprehend how terrifying Hela became when she possessed unlimited strength!
However, Hela's affairs held no relevance to her current situation. She had abandoned Asgard years ago and had no intention of returning. The immediate problem she faced involved the group of insignificant scavengers shown on the sky screen!
She understood her own combat capabilities perfectly and had no intention of gambling on whether her opponents might avoid provoking her out of fear. When confronted with threats, she invariably employed the most efficient methods to eliminate them!
She even possessed an ominous feeling that she might be forced to leave this planet! After all, based on past experience, when someone appeared prominently on the sky screen, significant events inevitably followed!
[Valkyrie bumped her gauntleted fists together, but initially her control systems illuminated briefly before deactivating.]
[Observing this malfunction, she pursed her lips and struck them harder, but still failed to activate the targeting system.]
[The scavengers charged toward her position. She struck the gauntlets twice more before successfully activating the sensors.]
[The spacecraft behind her deployed two heavy machine guns, which moved up and down following her arm movements, accompanied by mechanical humming sounds.]
[The scavenger leader recognized the threat and halted, but before he could issue warnings, Valkyrie opened fire.]
[A concentrated barrage of bullets instantly saturated their location. Witnessing this devastation, Thor immediately dropped to the ground to prevent accidental injury.]
[Valkyrie controlled the machine guns with deadly precision, systematically destroying all present scavengers, leaving only scattered fabric fragments across the battlefield.
Thor removed the electric shock net covering his body and prepared to stand when he observed a fortunate survivor attempting escape.
Valkyrie felt surprised that someone had survived her overwhelming firepower. Moreover, if they had survived, how did they possess the audacity to counterattack?
She effortlessly dodged his swinging hammer and delivered a backhand punch. Then she grasped him and effortlessly hurled him over ten meters away, where he crashed heavily into the refuse heap and remained motionless.
After eliminating the final opponent, Valkyrie directed her attention toward Thor.
Although Thor couldn't understand why she had assisted him, he still expressed gratitude: "Thank you!"]
[However, the next second, Valkyrie attached an electrode device to Thor's neck. Thor felt pain and attempted to examine what had been placed there.]
[Valkyrie withdrew a remote control and maximized the power setting. Instantly, Thor convulsed under the electrical current and collapsed, unable to resist.]
Tony couldn't suppress his laughter and patted Thor's muscular abdomen.
"I anticipated a touching scene of a beautiful woman rescuing a hero! Instead, the hero became the prey!"
Thor rolled his eyes. He hadn't expected such a humiliating outcome.
The mighty Thor had been defeated by electrical current twice within mere minutes!
This was genuinely embarrassing!
When Wanda learned that the others had returned, she approached them. She had been waiting at the base for several days. "It appears your mission proceeded smoothly?"
"Indeed! Unfortunately, we didn't record it!" Scott felt regretful that he hadn't documented his infiltration of the core, otherwise they could have witnessed his exceptional performance!
"Thanks to Scott this time, otherwise breaking through the core would have required tremendous effort!" Thor patted Scott's shoulder appreciatively.
Ego's strength was formidable. Attempting a direct assault would have proven extremely difficult. After all, he had prepared extensively, and if Star-Lord had been captured, he would have become Ego's ally!
[Valkyrie dragged Thor onto the spacecraft by his cloak.]
[When Thor regained consciousness, he found himself lying beneath a transparent cover.]
[He opened his eyes and discovered himself speeding past the garbage dump, heading toward the distant structures.]
[He turned with difficulty and observed Valkyrie piloting the spacecraft above him.]
[Valkyrie pressed the communication button: "This is Scavenger 142! I require clearance to meet the Grandmaster!"
She glanced at Thor, who had regained consciousness, and spoke meaningfully: "I have something special for him!"]
[Thor demanded: "Where are you taking me?"]
[Seeing that Valkyrie provided no response, Thor angrily struck the transparent barrier, creating numerous cracks.]
[Valkyrie rolled her eyes and continued ignoring him.]
[Thor grew increasingly enraged, pointing at her and shouting: "I am Thor! Son of Odin! I must return to Asgard!"]
[Valkyrie regarded him with amusement: "My sincere apologies, Your Highness!"]
[She pressed the remote control again, and the electrodes on Thor's neck immediately released high-voltage current, instantly incapacitating him!]
[The spacecraft rapidly approached the totem tower where the Grandmaster resided. This represented the tallest structure on the planet, towering significantly above all other buildings!
The spacecraft entered through an opening near several massive carved heads. The uppermost head remained only partially constructed, but the Hulk's features could be vaguely discerned through the chin area.]
[Below him were several portraits, one possessing a distinctive appearance. While the others displayed human faces, this one featured equine characteristics.]
[Valkyrie piloted the spacecraft into the Totem Tower!]
Tony glanced at Yondu, Star-Lord, and others who possessed familiarity with space locations.
"Do you recognize this place?"
Star-Lord stroked his chin thoughtfully: "If my memory serves correctly, this should be Sakaar! Where the Grandmaster rules!"
Yondu nodded, confirming Star-Lord's assessment.
"That individual enjoys capturing powerful warriors and forcing them into arena combat for entertainment and profit! Once you're imprisoned there, escape becomes nearly impossible!"
"Then Thor faces serious trouble! Without his hammer, he cannot access his full power!" Wanda appeared concerned.
Natasha responded calmly: "He remains the God of Thunder. Even if he's not at peak strength, he won't be defeated easily!"
