Before Feng Xiaoli could react, Dugu Xiaojin kicked out with a leg fast as whipping wind. With a slightly stalled gaze, Hua Wushang took a few quick, ghost-like steps, dodging each of Dugu Xiaojin's attacks with uncanny agility.
As Feng Xiaoli regained her composure, she saw Xiaojin tossing her aside.
"Run fast, head south."
Knowing her presence would only hinder her brother, Feng Xiaoli thought quickly, ignored the pain in her body, and ran southwards despite her short, rounded stature.
"You little wild breed, where do you think you're escaping?"
Nalan Yan'er burst out from the room as the advancing guards, alerted by her shout, went in pursuit of Feng Xiaoli.
Though plump and with short legs, the little girl proved nimble. As she ran, she called out,
"Hei Dian."
From a nearby garden, a dark shadow leapt forth.
Hei Dian appeared with imposing fierceness and immediately pounced at the group of guards.
"A wild breed even brought a dog," snarled Nalan Yan'er in anger.
