Chapter 2 - [ Chapter I (1): ALCHEMY PRODUCT: GOLEMS" ]

[ Chapter I (1): "ALCHEMY PRODUCT: GOLEMS" ]

After half an hour, after dinner and the chatting of the Students. They then all went their separate ways, some stayed, some went to bed early, and some roamed about; inside Hogwarts that is, as they are confined inside it at the moment.

A safety precaution so that they wouldn't be eaten by any rogue prehistoric monsters and dinosaurs outside Hogwarts, inside the Wizarding World.

Felix on the other hand chose to stay after dinner, going about when he answered about most of the questions that was thrown at him; and also after he entertained the curiosity of his Students.

[ PLAYER TEACHES STUDENTS ABOUT CHARMS; CREDITS GIVEN ACCORDINGLY ]

[ +14 SYSTEM CREDITS ]

Add the fact that whenever he teaches, explains, or further expand the knowledge of his Students, he then gains about equal amount of Credits— the currency of the System, to what they learn.

Fast learners provide more Credits, as they could easily and much more quickly understand what he is saying. Even with half-baked theories and plausible application of Magic.

As per example, Ms. Mullein who's taking notes at the moment, listening attentively, and proactively asking thought provoking questions; raising her arms when she does.

But, Students who are quite slow comparable to them gives also Credits, but not the same. They still do, but about less compared. Not that he doesn't like this though, he knows that these Students just needs to be taught differently.

Some Students learn via listening, some by taking notes, some by practicing, and some are visual learners. The last one is something of what Felix is actually is, which gave him a hard time at the start.

But now... Yeah, he could at the very least understand some things, some things not. At the very least he could explain it in great detail to others. [ "Okay, Professor, Magic Carpets do in fact... exist?" ]

[ "Right absolutely, Ms. Singh, but I don't have a sample product at the moment." ] He answered, which made the child with Indian heritage— Ms. Kiran Singh, very happy. [ "In the future, dear." ]

But also sad in realizing she wouldn't be able to see it at the moment. Still the prospect of being able to see one in the future made her excited, as she then imagines what it would look like personally in her hands. Like Aladdin perhaps?

[ "Okay, so wait. We can customize what we could fly in? Not just Brooms?!!" ]

[ "Oh, oh. I wanna fly using a motorbike, or a flaming motorbike!" ]

[ "Buddy, that sounds stupid." ]

He noticed that all of them seems to be interested in Flying Carpets, Brooms, and even talking about Alchemy Products in general. Which is a great thing, especially for his next class tomorrow morning.

So he tries to raise their curiosity about Alchemy Products more-and-more by answering their questions, if this thing is plausible or not, if this thing does exist or not. They are Students, not from the Pottermore Universe.

But instead are Students of Hogwarts in the 21st Century, yes, they are from Detective Comics. That doesn't change the fact that they are from the 21st Century, with their minds still young and imaginative.

An advantage that they could use to at the very least create a project, or something similar to their current dreams in the future. A flying motorcycle isn't out of the topic, so why not encouraged them more?

[ PLAYER TEACHES STUDENTS ABOUT ALCHEMY; CREDITS GIVEN ACCORDINGLY ]

[ +7 SYSTEM CREDITS ]

He did just that, for another half an another. As he then left, feeling actually more encouraged by what he said compared to the Students which seems to now have a passion relating to Alchemy.

The Students wanting to test their Flying Abilities in their Brooms, the day later on Friday... But unbeknownst to them, due to Felix tinkering with the System, learning Magic and Alchemy Theory and such...

He accidentally made products that they would love in turn. Alchemy Products which can talk, speak, fight and be partners for life. Magical Golems he call them.

[ "Huzaah! Wizard, it is you who locked me in this foul of a wrecked prison." ] In this case, a small couple of inch Knight Golem that has partial personality, consciousness, and even ego. [ "I'll have your head, you ugly smelling Dark Wizard!" ]

[ "That doesn't even make any senses." ] Confused by this, Felix tried grabbing the Magical Golem that he made, but was stabbed instead in the fingers which tickled him, the sword actually sharp, drawing blood that he looks on in curiosity.

This made him look at the Golem that is trying to escape the drawer, too short on even getting out. His armors clanking each time he jumps. [ "Stop staring!" ]

He wanted to cackle at this, but the Knight is fuming in anger, so he didn't do that in respect to the man's honor or whatnot.

He then instead focused on the other Golems, half-baked creations numbering about in the dozens. All made out if special clay that he bought in the System Shop.

Expensive clay at that, called Molding Clay, from what he read, it is primarily used as the body parts of Golems. Infused a Core, then viola, that Clay would then gain intelligence, personality, and even knowledge relating to their field.

He molded a Knight after a dozens of trial and errors and now he has a pipsqueak talking Knight in his drawer. Ego and knowledge relating to Knights, which is miracle work.

The other 50 or so disposed molding clay are failed experiments in his goal on creating a Knight. Something which the System would consider as fit for being the host of the nail sized Core.

With creativity not being his forté, it became hard, difficult with him wasting Credits left and right. With perseverance he was finally able to create one though, albeit slight crooked in some corners.

[ "The whole Kingdom will hear about you, you-you pathetic beast! Worse than a Dragon and as foul smelling as one." ]

[ "Hey, that's rude." ] He took offense on the last one, which made him wonder; does he really smell like that? He could have sworn he took a shower early in the morning. [ "Do I really smell?" ]

[ "..." ] The Knight taken off guard, lowered his stance and sword as he then looks weirdly at the giant above. Lowering his visor, he then smell the air, and nodded. [ "Yes, ser, you do smell pretty foul." ]

[ "Oh man..." ] Feeling bum by this, Felix frowned before then seeing the opportunity of grabbing the Knight Golem, which made his frown into a smile, seeing the opportunity he grabbed it.

Seeing the thing wiggle out of his grasp, Felix immediately let it go, on top of his table nearby a stack of books and a file of paper relating to either;

Alchemy, Charms, Transfiguration, Potions, and even Herbology. Subjects he is touching up in, especially because he is way far behind interms of knowledge about anything magical... He was after all just a simple No-Maj months prior.

Sighting to himself, he could hear the Knight Golem that he created curse at him in old english, one that was supposed to be subservient to him; mainly because he did create it, spent money on it, and gave it life.

Apparently reality is different from his expectations. Luckily he didn't create a miniature Dragon, or that would have spew fire everywhere making a mess, for once he thanked his lackluster skills in molding clay.

[ "Hey, hey. Shush up." ]

[ "I will not be silenced you hideous monst- what's that?!" ]

In not wanting to hear being cursed at, or even bad mouthed, primarily because his heart wouldn't be able to take it. Felix pulled out something... Something out of his System's Inventory— another clay creation, but this one not having any Core in it, thus not sentient or alive.

Placing it down besides the ready for a squabble Knight, it then immediately recognized what it was. Truthfully aside from a sword and armor this is what all Knights have, a partner— a loyal steed.

[ "My... what a beau- excuse me dark hearted wizard what am I looking at?" ]

The Knight Golem questioned, as it then realizes the fact that this Horse seems to be in an all brown ugly color... Holding up against gravity, but the fact it is just clay without life makes the Knight confuse.

Should he admire it? It's just clay. How can he admire clay the same size as it, if not then taller, molded in the shape of an horse, without any form of life... Should he what, ride it or something?

[ "Yeah-yeah, just wait. Please stop with the bad mouthing, it hurts my feelings here." ]

[ "You have feelings?" ]

Ignoring the words of the confused chivalrous Knight, he then opened up the System Shop which is only accessible and viewable by him. He then scrolled down trying to find the said Golem Core; an act which seems to confuse the small Knight on the table. [ "Has you finally gone mad?" ]

As he watches this confusing Wizard click and scroll on something only this other could see. Or perhaps his guess is right, and the Wizard have really gone mad...

More mad than the regular mad actions that he have been showing him since he woke up in this giant world.

To the Knight's confusion, when the Wizard did click in the air, something did appear besides him. A glowing red orb the same size as his head— akin to that of a round mesmerizing and the finest ruby he have the honor of seeing. [ "What is... this?" ]

[ "Golem Core, it gives life to clay creations. To the point that they themselves don't even believe they are clay." ] He explained to the Knight, which became fascinated, seeing that he has his attention, he then continued; [ "Like for example believing that they're a Knight for some Kingdom they don't even remember." ]

The Knight in hearing that did a spit take, his brows furrowing as he turns away from the bright shiny orb and into the gigantic face of Felix— the crazy mad-mad Wizard.

[ "Are you again implying that I'm not a real Knight off... " ] The Golem tried remembering his home Kingdom, not being able to no matter how hard he tries, as he then continues, [ "That I'm not a Knight in your eyes?!" ]

[ "Hah?" ] Felix and the Knight had this type of conversation and debate for days now, since this thing's creation at the very least. And each time they does, it led to hours and hours of verbal fighting, with the other side not believing that he is a clay.

So not wanting to dive again through that topic, especially because he haven't been able to sleep properly due to that. He stopped, and changed topic as fast as he could; seeing that nothing could convince this honor-filled Knight that his beliefs are wrong, he isn't a Knight, and is 3 days-old.

[ "Forget it." ] He ignored the Knight, as he then grabbed the Golem Core using his fingers as gently as possible, as to not break it. Then dropping it on the Horse, causing the orb to disappear, and for the Horse to slowly gain color.

The brown color coming from the clay body turned into white. The bumps and irregularities in the corner disappearing. As then missing features appeared on the Horse, like hair for example, long flowing beautiful hair that seems to be blown by air; even though all the windows of the classroom is closed.

The Knight in disbelief dropped his sword, as he then admires the now moving, now sentient creature. His friend. He still don't believe what the Wizard said to him though, as that sounds stupid; [ "What beautiful sorcery... perhaps I've treated you harshly, Wizard." ]

[ "You can have her, permanently, just comply with me for an hour or two tomorrow in class, in front of the Students." ] He sighted explaining his reasons for doing all of this, that is for this thing to comply with him and not do anything dumb in front of the Students for tomorrow's Alchemy Class.

The Children though being Wizards and Witches for a month, studying for a month now. Still haven't seen any inanimate object become sentient, they haven't formally seen a painting talk, move, or taunt them.

They haven't seen magical plates move on their own, or even Ghost appearing and disappearing out of nowhere. And worse of it all, they haven't met the Sorting Hat, even though they have gotten sorted.

The closest thing they have seen an inanimate object move is through magic, when casting the Cleaning Charm that could make cleaning objects move...

Not close enough compared to sentient somewhat intelligent inanimate objects like the Paintings filled with personalities, Knight Statues that guads Hogwarts, or even the chattery Sorting Hat.

This Knight Golem actually being a failed attempt of Felix in trying to make a Knight Guard, those sentient armors that roams around in the original story. Technically he did succeed, but this one is 1/100th smaller compared to the original.

So he did fail, but succeed... Somewhere-somewhere in the middle. And if his demonstration in front of the children tomorrow work, then he wouldn't have to worry about personally creating any Knights, or models for future sentient clay creations in the far future.

[ "You have a deal, Wizard!" ]

[ "How the hell do I shake your hand without breaking it?" ]

[ "..." ]

[ "..." ]

[ "I believe your pinkie would do." ]
