She was really being extra nice today, I thought. I take the chance to lay down and rest. I put my headphones on and played my favorite list of songs. I close my eyes, feeling groggy and everything fades to black. "Bang!" I suddenly wake up in a cold sweat. I look at my bedroom window and examining it, there's a large crack running across the glass. I could hear a muffled voice shouting outside. I could feel the adrenaline throughout my whole body, causing me to shiver. I reluctantly looked outside the window. It's that one girl's boyfriend from way back. I think his name was Kai or something. What does he want from me now? It's already dark out, and I've had one hell of a day.

I looked at him and shook my head violently.

I know he probably couldn't hear me, but the gesture should be enough.
