The Ogre only took a moment to charge at Armaros as he was forced to jump out of the way as the monster barreled past him as he turned around and his eyes widened as the monster swung his sword at him.
He immediately raised his sword and angled it so that the blow could be redirected right over him as he grit his teeth as he felt the power of the strike as it passed over him as sparks were created.
He covered the sword in mana and brought it down before he slashed it upwards, sending a Mana slash right at the ogre as it hit his knee. The Ogre looked down at his right knee and saw a small cut being formed on his body as he grinned.
"Not had." The Ogre said with a grin as Armaros' eyes widened.
"Fanah!" Armaros shouted as he called his slave.
The two heard some movement as Fanah charged out of the hole that she had been sent through with her sword in hand as she roared and charged at the monster with Mana strengthening her body.
The Ogre turned to her as he grinned as she ran with fervor and dodged out of the Ogres sword as she covered her blade with electric mana and sliced at his wrist, only for the monster to move his arm quickly before responding with a powerful kick as she narrowly dodged it, feeling wind kicked past her face due to the force.
Armaros used that time to move in and covered his sword in hot flames and slashed behind his knee as he met resistance as his sword only bit a little into his flesh as the human's eyes widened.
"Did you think that it was enough to hurt me boy?" The Ogre said with a grin.
Armaros cursed in his mind as he had to jump back to escape the kick from the ogre, only for him to do a summersault to dodge the grab of the ogre. Fanah used this moment to slash at his waist as the ogre grunted a bit from the attack as she had managed to make a good slash over his body as he grinned.
"Good." Ogre said with a grin.
Fanah bent back 90°, narrowly dodging the sword slash from the monster as it passed right over her face. She righted herself and jumped over his fist as she landed on the ground.
The Ogre was then hit in the back of his head by a fireball as he gasped due to the strong attack, as his hair was burned and singed and his own skin was slightly red as he looked at Armaros as he grinned.
The boy's eyes widened when the Ogre turned to him in record time and charged at him, only for him to dash out of the way and dodge the sword slash as Fanah used this moment to attack the back of his foot, and she had put more power into this attack and managed to slice clean through.
The Ogre stumbled as he felt the back of his right leg cut, but just as he turned around Armaros appeared and slammed his left fist, covered with pure mana as the blow caused the monsters face to jerk to the side.
Fanah capitalised on it to drive her knee right into the back of the monsters right knee, bending it and causing him to lose his balance momentarily, something which Armaros took advantage of as he raised his sword and stabbed it right through his right eyes.
"Graaaaahhh!" Ogre roared in pain as his eye was pierced as Armaros managed to pull his sword out.
But he wasn't able to dodge the hand that grabbed him and tossed him to the wall of the place as he crashed through it as he used mana to create a cocoon to protect himself as he recovered quickly and rushed back into the battle.
The Ogre tried to use his mana to heal his eye, but Fanah wasn't about to let him do that as she stabbed her sword right into the wound on his waist and channeled lightning into his body as he roared from the pain he felt due to the attack as she channeled her mana into the element as he lost his feeling in his leg.
She roared in anger and her eyes widened when flames surged from his leg as she pulled her sword out and moved away from the monster.
'Damn it. He might stop underestimating us.' Fanah thought to herself as she glared at the monster.
The Ogre turned to her as he growled, but Armaros came at this moment and saw the scene and saw that the monster is distracted and hurled a lance of light at the Ogres ear. His aim was true as the attack struck the monster right in his ear and exploded, causing him to roar out in shock and pain, while also becoming disoriented.
'We can't let this chance go! We have to defeat him quickly!' Armaros thought to himself as he charged with Fanah also attacking.
He created a sphere of light, made it more powerful and then launched it at the vulnerable part of the Ogre, specifically, his crotch as the attack hit its intended target.
Armaros watched as the eye of the Ogre widened in shock before a blood curdling scream of pain shot out of his mouth as he grabbed onto his thing while he stabbed his sword into the ground. The human boy felt very thankful that the monster was only wearing a tunic, otherwise it would've been much more difficult to harm him.
Fanah gaped at such a dirty move by her master but she disregarded it due to the opponent they were facing as she used this opportunity to charged her sword with great amounts of mana and jumped and brought her sword down on the arm of the ogre.
She couldn't help but feel happy as her weapon sliced through the right forearm of the ogre, as blood gushed out of the wound as the ogre roared from the sudden loss of part of his limb.
'This is the correct moment! Jump him!' Armaros shouted to himself in his mind as he reached the monster.
He surged his entire body with mana, feeling very powerful as the ogre noticed him with wide eyes and even Fanah did as she looked at him in shock at the amount of mana she is able to feel from him.
And the Armaros disappeared from their view for a second before he attacked the ogre all over his body, as his slaves eyes widened as she watched him moved around the Ogre like he was the wind itself.
The Ogre couldn't believe what was happening to him, he had thought that he would have some fun with the two humans who had come to his chosen stronghold by fighting and killing them, and yet he was brought to such a deplorable state by the two of them.
And now, the young man, who should've been the weaker of the two, surged with great power and was now running all over him like he was the wind itself and not even a second later blood started to gush out of the new slashes all over his body.
He tried to use his own magic to retaliate, but the boy was not about to lose this opening as he roared and sliced the limbs of the Ogre right at his shoulders and hips. The monster was shocked at that before he was socked on his chin by the boy as he was sent flying into the ceiling of the cave.
He crashed into the ceiling as he cried out, only for Armaros to kick him down to the ground as he crashed into the floor of the ruin as Fanah watched it happen with a shocked face and slack jawed.
But Armaros didn't care about his slave nor what she was feeling, his entire focus on the monster in front of him and to not let him have even a moment to retaliate against him. He knew that this was a golden opportunity for him, and he wasn't about to let it go.
He brought his sword down and pierced right through his head as the ogre screamed before his head was filled with lightning from Armaros as he used his sword to channel it as electricity burst out of the eyes of the Ogre as Armaros roared and flooded the head of the monster with electricity.
The Ogres body spasmed for a few moments before it all went still, his eyes fried and smoke coming out of his mouth, nose and ears as Armaros panted for a bit and then pulled the sword out of the monsters head and jumped down.
He went on one knee as he looked at the corpse of the ogre as he felt relieved that they had managed to kill the thing.
'Thank goodness. The bastard was playing with us, so we could kill it without too many injuries.' Armaros thought to himself as he shifted his body a bit.
He felt a snapping in his body as he corrected the bone structure a bit as he sighed in relief.
Armaros knew that if the ogre had fought them with all his strength from the get go, then it would've been a lot more difficult for them to fight it, and perhaps they wouldn't have been able to easily defeat it, or maybe die from it.
It's arrogance was the sole reason that it didn't see them as a threat and underestimated them, which was what they capitalised on to kill it. He didn't know how the fight would've gone if the bastard hadn't, but that was not important as they had killed him and survived.
"Well, that happened." Armaros said to himself as he sighed.
Fanah looked at her master as she needed some moments to reconcile the image she had of him with the one she had just seen as her eyes widened as she looked down at the corpse of the ogre.
'It seems that my master isn't as simple as I thought.' Fanah thought to herself as she used Mana to realign the bones which had shifted a bit due to the battle.
"Well, at least this Ogre will get us some good money and some reputation." Armaros said with a small smirk as his slave stayed silent.
'I just hope she won't start asking questions. It would just be annoying.' Armaros thought to himself as he looked at the corpse and thought about what to do with it.
