Twenty minutes later, he led the little guy downstairs.
The little guy seemed in a good mood, bouncing as he walked.
Kingsly still lifted and carried him down when they reached the stairs, though he knew the child could go up and down by himself.
The little guy looked at him with round, puzzled eyes. "Daddy, I can walk by myself."
Kingsly looked at the child's innocent face and smiled. "Daddy wants to hold you."
"Oh... Mommy sometimes does this too afraid I might fall, but I don't anymore, " the little guy pouted.
"Is that so?"
"Yes... Mommy always tells me to watch the road, but sometimes she's so busy telling me that she forgets to look at herself. Once, a car came, and she didn't see it. It scared me."
Kingsly first furrowed his brows, but as he listened to his son, they gradually relaxed, a smile appearing on his face. "Then you should remind Mommy to oversee the road so you don't have to worry anymore."
The little guy nodded emphatically. "Yes."
