Rachel Foster went with Diana Foster to visit Jackson.
Since Diana could drive, they took Noah Foster's car.
Rachel kept her eyes closed, resting, until Diana spoke up. "Sis I've always had a question."
Rachel hadn't been asleep and opened her eyes. "What question?"
Diana glanced at Rachel through the rearview mirror. "I... I'm afraid it might upset you if I say it."
"It's okay, go ahead."
Diana bit her lip. "Sis... have you ever thought about why Kingsly Scott keeps dragging his feet and not divorcing you?"
Rachel's eyes darkened slightly.
Diana immediately regretted asking the question, wishing she could bite off her intrusive tongue. But then she heard Rachel's calm voice. "He says he needs an heir."
"But Kingsly is so rich. Finding an heir should be easy. He could find any woman to have a child with him..." Diana said indignantly.
"I don't want to dwell on his thoughts... but from what I've seen so far, his love for Jackson seems genuine."
