Chapter 115 - RETREAT

The battlefield was silent.

The wind carried the scent of destruction, the echoes of god-tier clashes still reverberating in the air. The land was shattered, the sky darkened by lingering energy surges, and the atmosphere was thick with the weight of countless battles fought in mere moments.

Thane, Karael, and Elyas stood bloodied and battered, their bodies barely able to withstand another exchange. They had fought relentlessly against **Vinay, a force beyond comprehension.** Even with all their might, **it wasn't enough.**

Now, as Ryan Jim, Dain, and Liora stood before them, **fresh and ready for battle**, the three warriors exchanged glances.

Karael wiped the blood off his lips, his grin never fading. **"Guess this is our cue, huh?"**

Thane nodded, his expression unreadable, but exhaustion was evident in his posture. **"Yeah… We did what we could."**

Elyas exhaled, closing his eyes for a moment before turning toward Ryan Jim. **"You guys take it from here."**

Ryan Jim, his stance firm, looked at them with understanding. **"Alright. Get some rest. You earned it."**

Liora glanced at Karael, smirking. **"You're actually stepping down? That's new."**

Karael chuckled. **"I'm not stepping down. I'm letting you guys have the fun this time."**

Despite the heavy atmosphere, a brief moment of camaraderie passed between them.

Dain crossed his arms, watching them. **"You all fought well."**

Thane looked back at him, eyes sharp. **"Don't lose now. We didn't hold the line for nothing."**

Ryan Jim nodded. **"We won't."**

Without another word, Thane and Karael turned away, their bodies weary but their spirits unbroken. Elyas followed, but not before glancing back at Vinay, who stood unmoving, watching them depart with an amused smirk.

**"Leaving already?"** Vinay's voice was calm, yet mocking.

Thane didn't even look back. **"We did what we came to do. Now, it's their turn."**

Vinay chuckled, shaking his head. **"Amusing."**

With that, the three warriors disappeared into the distance, their figures vanishing beyond the ruins.

**Now, only three remained.**

Ryan Jim.

Dain.

Liora.

And standing against them—

Vinay.

The battle had not yet begun.

But the tension in the air was **immense.**

Ryan Jim took a deep breath, **feeling the weight of the moment.**

It wasn't just another fight.

**This was the decisive moment.**

Vinay stood before them, **his aura suffocating, an overwhelming force unlike any they had ever faced.** The power he radiated was terrifying—yet beneath it, Ryan Jim felt **something deeper.**

Vinay was **enjoying this.**

Dain rolled his shoulders, eyes locked onto Vinay. His stance was relaxed, yet calculated.

Liora stood firm, her expression serious.

**"No matter what, we can't hesitate,"** she muttered. **"If we do, we're dead."**

Ryan Jim nodded. **"We'll fight as one."**

Vinay's smirk widened. **"Are you done talking?"**

Dain exhaled. **"You're in a hurry?"**

Vinay **laughed.**

"Not at all. I'm just… entertained."

His eyes gleamed. **"It's been a while since I've faced something remotely interesting."**

Ryan Jim narrowed his eyes.

**This was a monster. A god. A force beyond reasoning.**

But they **would not back down.**

The final battle was about to begin.
