"I picked your clothes for you already. Do you need blood? Must you stand like that?" Selene asked, averting her eyes from Xavier's direction when he stood up without warning.
"You can offer yourself to me for an entire day, yet you cannot look at me when I am naked? It is strange how your mind works, but I enjoy it," Xavier said, covering himself so Selene would look at him again.
"I am covered."
Selene waited for a moment before she faced him again. "I don't like to stare. You would never let me forget it."
"I wouldn't," Xavier confessed.
It was always too hard to let it a chance to tease Selene slip by.
"Cassandra is dead. She was among the humans attacking, and to my surprise, she had a demon attached to her. There is no doubt that she was coming here for you. Either that or she thought Gabriel was here," said Xavier.
