The Treasure-Hunting Dimension.
When Zhe Luo led over a hundred members of the Alliance to find Lu Jun, he was somewhat surprised — his opponent was neither hiding nor hunting them down. Instead, Lu Jun stood proudly in place, his golden Sword resting beside him, exuding an aura of dominance as if waiting for them to come.
Zhe Luo's figure appeared before Lu Jun. With a sigh, he said, "You truly deserve the title of the Nationa's Number One. A pity your era ends today. Still, being besieged by so many is a fitting curtain call for someone of your stature."
Upon the giant rock on the plain, Lu Jun sensed movement. His eyes slowly opened, gazing at Zhe Luo and over a dozen others advancing openly toward him. Behind him, as well as to his left and right, stood Reddy of Germany, Ark, and Others, leading scattered groups that formed an encirclement.
Nearly a hundred elite mages surrounded the plains, weaving an inescapable net.
Seeing this, Lu Jun felt not the slightest fear. After hearing Zhe Luo's words, his brow rose — the one who was once known as the strongest of the World College Tournament now admitted he was far inferior. Truly, how the world had turned upside down.
"Enough nonsense. If you want a fight, then fight!"
He suddenly stood. A vast and mighty force erupted from him. The murky sky churned violently — azure-white tempests roared across the heavens, rolling up sand and stone. Each of his movements summoned a Flying Sand and Raging Stone, radiating the divine majesty of one who commanded great supernatural power.
At the heart of the storm floated a massive black cauldron, its surface engraved with a sinister Evil Spider Seal, emanating an aura of despair and dread. It was none other than the Domain of Heaven and Earth — Hell Furnace.
Beneath him, an immense surge of water spread outward, forming a vast, deep, black vortex. Towering waves rose layer after layer, heavy moisture filling the air, the ground turning slick as if the monsoon had arrived.
This was the Beiming Domain, actively resonating with the Abyssal Ocean Effect.
Wooo—! Crash!
Lu Jun stood between Heaven and Earth, the skies above a raging pale-blue tempest, the land below a pitch-black oceanic abyss. He was like a divine being of nature itself, wielding the might of all climates and elements — supreme and unshakable.
For a moment, the hundreds of contestants were struck dumb with awe, unable to advance even half a step.
They all knew Lu Jun's strength — his most fearsome elements were Water and Curse, armed with top-tier Techniques, supreme Soul Seeds, transcendent Spiritual Power, and cultivation at the peak of the Advanced Level.
Zhe Luo's eyes locked tightly onto the massive Hell Furnace, knowing that nearly forty contestants from various countries had already been suppressed inside it. He muttered, "That spell… is that still the Evil Spider Trap?"
"Goddammit!" shouted the German mage Reddy, who had already seen through it. "It's a Fifth-level Fusion of Basic and Intermediate spells — no wonder it's so damn strong! This bastard's burning money like water!"
"One element — forty-nine Slave Souls and Warrior-level Souls — at least a billion!"
Ark's face was grim as he bellowed to the wavering mages around him, "Are you all going to cower now, at the brink of battle? Even if you flee, he won't let you go!"
With that, his figure vanished into the shadows, leading the charge. While Shadowmelding, he controlled the Star Patterns, conjuring torrents of black mist that surged forth, attempting to swallow the abyssal ocean below.
Zhe Luo moved as well. His green hair danced wildly as he raised his arms high. His Wind Element Soul Seed Domain erupted — blinding white gales surged and swept across the heavens, trying to suppress the azure-white storm above.
These two were the captains of Germany and Britain respectively — both Advanced Level Tier 3 mages of the Shadow and Wind Elements. Their strength was formidable, enough to pose a genuine threat to Lu Jun.
In midair, with the Hell Furnace above his head and the Beiming Abyss beneath his feet, Lu Jun sensed faint tremors coursing through both Domains, as though they were being tested to their limits.
But it wasn't over. After a brief hesitation, the other hundred contestants simultaneously cast probing spells. Azure frost, violet lightning, ochre earth spikes, and blazing flames filled the sky — countless Basic Spells surged forth, dense and dazzling, forming a torrent of multi-colored destruction.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
At the instant he was besieged by over a hundred Advanced mages, Lu Jun finally felt the immense pressure — as if Mount Tai itself had crashed down upon him.
This was nothing like when he had swept through two thousand Basic mages at Pearl Academy. At the Advanced Level, every mage was a prodigy with nine skills at their disposal, far from weaklings that could be instantly slain and this was a full encirclement.
Even in the original story, Mo Fan, after achieving Super Level in two Elements and mastering Supernatural Power, still struggled against forty Parthenon Blue Star Knights.
Now, Lu Jun faced an even greater pressure — this was, without a doubt, his greatest challenge yet.
"Abyssal Ocean! Hell Furnace!"
Lu Jun let out a deep roar. The black Hell Furnace above his head and the dark vortex of the Abyss beneath his feet simultaneously erupted with a tremendous devouring force. The multicolored torrent of magic that had been rushing toward him was suddenly pulled off course and swallowed completely by the two great abysses, vanishing as though cast into the sea.
"Ugh!" He forcibly endured that wave of attacks, feeling the Hell Furnace and Abyssal Vortex nearly explode under the pressure. The backlash rattled his spirit, blood surging within his body as he let out a muffled groan.
Within several kilometers centered on Lu Jun, the two Domains clashed violently against the countless spells. Even the residual shockwaves were enough to unleash destructive magical auras, tearing the land apart. Violent energy tides ripped the top layers of soil into the air; dust and shattered stones were ground into powder amid the brilliant sea of light.
Boom!
The grassy plains were completely leveled, turned into a vast, sunken white wasteland.
Even so, nearly a hundred Advanced Mages stared in disbelief, their eyes wide as if seeing a monster. Their combined firepower rivaled that of a mage army thousands strong—yet their opponent stood unshaken, tall and immovable.
Zhe Luo shouted sternly, "Don't be afraid! He's struggling now! A few more rounds and he won't hold out—don't give him the chance to breathe!"
Bang! Bang! Bang!
As he spoke, his whole body spiraled in midair, white light surging like a sea around him. He commanded one fierce Tornado after another to bombard the azure-white stormy sky above. Each impact shattered the air, scattering violent air currents in every direction.
Meanwhile, the Heaven and Earth Domain churned violently, ripples spreading across it as the range visibly shrank to the naked eye — its vast hundred-meter glow reduced by half.
Everyone's expressions hardened. They cast spells without hesitation, without pause a new wave of vast, surging magic once again swept across the land.
Lu Jun's eyes glinted with murderous intent. He did not take a single step back, instead urging the Hell Furnace forward as a shield before him.
Boom!
A deafening explosion followed. The black-red Hell Furnace was sent flying dozens of meters into the air, its shape completely warped the surface was dented, uneven, no longer resembling a cauldron at all, but a tangled mass of molten threads.
The Hell Furnace had absorbed too much of the magic bombardment it was on the verge of collapse.
Yet Lu Jun showed no panic. Instead, a cold, inexplicable smile spread across his face.
"Ahhh!" Suddenly, wails echoed from within the Hell Furnace — dozens of chaotic voices overlapping together: some roaring in anger, some cursing, others begging or crying out in pain.
"Damn you! You're torturing us! Do you really want us to die here?!"
"You're making an enemy of the whole world! The powers behind me won't let you go!"
"Brother, let me out! I was wrong!"
The crowd was stunned — the contestants from every country were filled with disbelief.
"Wait… I think I just heard Hanna's voice!"
"I heard Pinoth from my team too!"
Zhe Luo, and Ark's faces all changed drastically. They immediately shouted, "Everyone, stop casting! Suspend the spells, now!"
"Hahahaha!"
Lu Jun burst into wild laughter, stepping forward with bloodthirsty ferocity. "If you have the guts, then keep going!"
