From this perspective, the importance of the northern region is no less than that of the northwest region.
Although geographically the northwest and northern regions are closely linked, forming the "Fanluo River-Gangaro River Corridor" that spans Luo Country from west to east, which is also the basic structure of Luo Country, a noticeable gap exists in the southwest direction of this corridor, located northwest of the Deccan Plateau, west of the Gangaro Plain, several hundred kilometers south of Decheng, at the Malwa Plateau.
To call it a plateau, it's more like a hilly area.
If the Gangaro Plain is considered the first step, then the Malwa Plateau would be the second step.
In other words, if enemies invade from the west and advance east along the Malwa Plateau, they can cut off connections between the northwest and northern regions.
More importantly, the northwest plateau where Decheng is located also geographically belongs to the second step.
